Paris Exclusive Fragrance?

I've searched the forums up and down and read a bunch but there seem to be differing opinions on what's exclusive.

My brother's going to Paris for a week and I'm interested in having him pick up something exclusive to France. He won't exactly have the freedom to roam around, but I know he'll be passing by the Guerlain boutique and probably taking a trip to that massive Au Printemps store I went to when I was there years ago.

Does anyone here know if there's anything exclusive he can get from either of those places <$100? Any other fragrance boutiques in the Champs Elysees that might have something unique?

Maybe if he has time, he can swing by Place Vendome and hit the Montale boutique and pick up something from their Confidential Collection which is not available Stateside.

Heh, that does sound nice, but I did a little search and it looks like those are a few hundred euros each

The Guerlain flagship store at 68, Champs-Elysees!

There's not that much that cannot be found here too (unless we go way above $100, in which case there are a few).

Something good and not expensive that is not available in the US:
Dior Jules (herbal fougere)
Chanel pour monsieur (the regular one, not the concentree, which is available here too)
Both should be available at most dept stores or perfume stores (like Sephora, Marionnaud, Nocibe). I definitely remember a Marionnaud on the Champs Elysees, but these boutiques are all over Paris.

Alternatively, you could check Parfums de Nicolai, which is sold only in one store in the US, as far as I know. It's a great perfumer and they sell 30ml bottles. Examples would be Vie de Chateau (leathery dry), Odalisque (woody mossy), Patchouli homme (patch) etc. There are a few stores around town, none on Champs Elysees, but there's one near the Louvre museum (28, rue de Richelieu 75001).

If you decided to take a bell jar, you can have it personally engraved in 2-3 letters. (extra cost) um and sometime they offer some of this rock looking little sweets for customer at the palace, the one in the pic was iris flavored which i think is pretty nice maybe your friend could pack some of this 'Serge Luntes candies' back to States.

Be there early cos they wont be able to the engraving if it's too late, by 'too late' i mean after lunch time..
