Eau Des Baux is a Summer scent

Why do people here say it's a "Fall/Winter" scent and not to wear it in summer ?

Eau Des Baux is a perfect summer scent, it's fresh and green and it's 85 degrees in LA and this seems perfect for it.

An all-year round scent IMO.

I took this along on my trip to Vegas last year in 110 degree weather and it worked great. Just sprayed a bit lighter.

As hednic said, a good year-rounder.

Most not-too-thick scents can be worn all year round, it's just that some of the woodsy warmer scents seem best suited for cooler weather and the lighter or citrusy scents better suited for summer wear. But I remember not thinking very much of Kouros and Eau de Grey Flannel till I wore them in the middle of summer.

Now I'll have to check out Eau des Baux on the last few warm days we expect down here. Thanks.

Because perception of seasons and perfume is subjective.

Enjoy it. And don't ever let anyone tell you what to wear when. I can understand that people may want warmer scents when it's cool and vice versa, but let's not make a religion out of it.
