Favorite sweet fragrances

Thread Starter
There's another thread up asking what people's favorite non-sweet fragrances are, I think it was a great idea, but I prefer sweet fragrances. What do you guys like? Personally I'm going to say Body Kouros (yup, I'm mentioning Body Kouros again... its just so good!).

I like YSL L'Homme, Dior Homme Intense, and Spicebomb lately (I find all of them sweet). And Oriental Lounge is a nice, sweet amber.

Not usually going for sweet, but I like immortelle. For instance, Dior Eau Noire.

My favourite fragrance is Body Kouros. I love the stuff.

There's another sweet fragrance called Philosykos by Diptyque. It's a sweet fig fragrance. Man when this stuff dries down it has this amazing, unique, natural, calm, sweet note. It's like a sweet summer fragrance that you never have to worry about being over-powering.

I'm also surprised at what some other folks describe as sweet. To me, Knize Ten and Borneo 1834 aren't sweet at all!

No, Knize Ten is not sweet (if you devoid it of the huge amber base).

Quote from review of Borneo 1834 on 'Bois de Jasmin'!
Borneo 1834 takes the sweet winey effervescence of patchouli and layers it with silkiness of chocolate and darkness of resinous woods. The top notes shock like vapours from a glass of rum. The hot wind that stuns senses upon the first inhale whips up a scintillating cloud of patchouli, which settles slowly in swirling patterns—one moment, it is a sweet golden (not earthy) patchouli, the next, it is a dark balsamic resin. The intoxicating warmth is interspersed with sweet incense smoke, which segues into the bitter chocolate. It is not a sweet luscious gourmand note of chocolate that made Angel a success, but a dark mélange of cocoa powder, bits of rubber and rosewood dust. The end result is a composition of remarkable contrasts—weightless darkness, smoky sweetness and eerie sensuality of patchouli.

Nice review. It still isn't sweet to my nose.

one such is:

Cuir Beluga by Guerlain
- Upon application, one is treated to an entrancing melange. Sweet, orangey mandarin, along with its lovely, soft, floral hints, commingles with an everlasting flower, which proffers its syrupy, herbaceous, hay-like sweetness. And, magical aldehydes lift the captivating blend, adding an effervescence to the citrus and luster to the floral, as well as a soft, vanillin undercurrent. A burnt-sugar phantom can be sensed. Transitioning to the heart, heliotrope shrouds the opening with its cherry-vanilla and faintly almond aroma and powdery aspect. A luxurious and sensual, Spanish-leather illusion, reminiscent of the spice, citrus and floral components used in its tanning process, serves as a light underpinning for the delicate heliotrope. Segueing to the warm base, a sweet, almost creamy and floury vanilla, an aroma somewhat akin to vanilla custard combining with a pastry delicacy, interplays with a balsamic and warm amber. The sumptuous leather is still in the background. And, an impressive drydown ensues. This select and demurely elegant composition is a cool-weather, unisex scent, with average projection and good longevity, 8-10 hours.
