Which one is your favorite amongst these three? Projection is an important criteria.

Have and like all three, but pick Rive Gauche.

I feel that Rive Gauche is slightly more timeless and fitting to a broader range of occasions. Jazz is delightful, and slightly more playful, and like Pasha's younger brother. Live Jazz is good, but I don't really take it seriously and rarely wear it.

Haven't smelled the other 2 so I wont vote, but Rive Gauche is excellent. However I feel like it's been built up so much, anyone who tries it based on its rave reviews will only be disappointed.

rive gauche

Rive Gauche is more vesatile but Jazz will do for me. How did you end up with these three? They have nothing in common except being made by YSL.

I have sampled live jazz but only read reviews about Rive Gauche. From what I have read the reformulated Rive Gauche smells like a can of Barbasol shaving cream...fresh and crisp. Live Jazz had way more going on with it from what I remember.

Rive Gauche PH is my pick of the three, classy and versatile IMO. Live Jazz works well in the summer heat here.

Rive Gauche pour Homme by Yves Saint Laurent, but only if it is the tin/aluminum can ... if not, then Live Jazz by Yves Saint Laurent

RG for me as well. I won all 3 but really only wear RG.

Prefer Live Jazz the most. The other two are just ok IMO.

They're all three good, but for me not good enough!

Just checking back on this thread to see how bad the lead for Rive Gauche pour Homme is.....

I like all three but if I had to take one it would be Rive Gauche. Although almost everyone has voted for it I don't think it is much better than the others, just more versatile with great longevity. I would rather have all three and would probably wear them as much as each other. (Ok Live Jazz more in summer and maybe Jazz a bit less than the others.)
