How long with "M"?

I wished a fragrance for my birthday.

I tested Invasion Barbare and Puredistance M.

I liked them. I can see why so many users claim that Invasion Barbare is one of the best fragrances ever made.

I had this feeling when I tested Puredistance M.

Even if M is completely different from IB, I like M better, because M is more luxurious and elegant IMO.

Let´s assume:
You have a 17,5 ml flacon of M and you wear it every weekend (Friday and saturday)
How long would you need to empty the flacon if you spray 3 times?

How many sprays should I use for a good sillage?

You'll get approximatley 175 sprays which will last you six months of Friday and Saturdays.

Let me just add - if you were to wear only M and IB for the rest of your life, it wouldn't be such a bad thing. Two incredibly good masterpieces - scent just doesn't get any better than these two.

@thebeck.

Thank you. I am looking for a fragrance, that I want to usw the rest of my life (I am 24).
I am a huge fan of fragrances, but I don´t want to try out every new stuff, because I get tired of it and my wallet will be empty.

I have found Antaeus and Eau Sauvage up to know, which can be consumed for the rest of my life.

I am now a big fan of M and just love the stuff. It has a really good jasmine floral note within the spicy leathery composition that really is luxorious. And its the only fragrance I found that I can enjoy that jasmine floral note without the fragrance becoming too feminine. Wonderful juice.

M is a Masterpiece fragrance created by Roja Dove, the intention here was to give the wearer the sensation he or she would have inside the new leather interior of a grey Aston Martin.
Suffice to say that being in a pure perfume concentration one spray should be enough, IMO 3 sprays would be way too much.
Invasion Barbare in another hand is quite reductive and I really do not understand its hype.
Go M, you won't regreat it!

Puredistance M is great stuff indeed. Longest lasting fragrance I've ever encountered. I sprayed a sticky note with it to test it the day I got my sample, and over 2 weeks later I could still smell it strongly. Invasion Barbare is also pretty good, but I don't think it's on the same level as M.

I'd recommend ONE spray, personally... I used 2 one time and it was really powerful, a friend commented on it. I am split between dabbing it on and spraying, each method gives a different balance of notes. Try both and see what you think.

To each his own, but I use 5 sprays. One to each wrist, two to the chest, and one in my hair. Never get complaints, only compliments.

I agree, IB is not quite in the same league as M. I'm giving "Temptation" a lot of credit for being a newbie and already having exqusite taste. The typical newbie's top 5 looks like your signature top 5. LOL

1. Axe Kilo
2. Lectric Shave
3. Vicks Vapor Rub
4. Febreze Pour Homme
5. Preferred Stock

thanks for your replies..
I have already tested IB and M before.

They are def. too good to be true.

IB is a skin scent for me. It is decent, wonderful and elegant.

M has every "personality" IB already contains.
M is also wonderful, elegant AND luxurious.

I don´t find IB luxurious even if it is unique.

If I take a fragrance, then I absolutely wear it to please myself and to please other people, too.
IB cannot do it although its longevity is great.

If only one spray is enough, then I would take M without any hesitate to join Antaeus and Eau Sauvage for the rest of my life.

Haha I'll never be too good for the classics

If what they said is true, Roja Dove loves the classical style of perfumery and his 'commissioned' fragrances often have the complexity of more vintage stuff. M has a phase that distinctly reminds me of Guerlain Heritage. Anybody else gets this?

I think it would be a better buy if you get the 100ml or a decant if you want it to last longer imo
