Aventus or Green Irish Tweed for rainy day?

Picked up a sample of each and its going to be raining the next day... I would appreciate any opinions on which would be better suited for a cold, rainy day. Thanks! =)

I think both will be fine, but my choise would be GIT. Both are great allround scents for me, but somehow I feel that GIT is at its best on a rainy day.

GIT is infinitely better in ANY weather

I'd get GITty with it, but I am not you. Wear the one you feel like wearing

I had this dilemma this morning and went for GIT.
Aventus is great on any day to be honest, it gives me a warm upbeat feeling and makes me feel confident.
I went for GIT though because aside to being new in my collection the 'fresh' notes, especially that violet note, seem to be very well suited to wet weather and the whole idea of the 'Irish countryside' being associated with constant rain made the choice for me.

Aventus

Either will work.

I'd wear Aventus as the non-fresh aspect would compliment the rain.

GIT gets my rainy day vote.

True! Besides I sense an incense vibe on Aventus, that for some particular reason does not seem to suit a rainy day, in another hand GIT has some sort of natural "wetness" in itself that just integrates better with the rain (rainy day).

Can't miss with either IMO, so choose, use, and enjoy.

Allow me to board the GIT train on this one.

I would pick GIT over Aventus any day, rainy or not.

Git

GIT smells damp and green, like a rainy day out in a field. So my vote is for GIT.

Yeah for a rainy day definitely GIT, but if it's hot outside Aventus.

I go with either on any day.

GIT has, in my opinion, even a cooling, damp, humid, herbaceous, earthy vibe about it
post #21 of 30
Both are fine but go with GIT

GIT has something about it that seems fitting with rain.

Either one is fine, but I had the same situation a few days ago and went with Aventus.

I think 8/10 times I would go with GIT, but I have definitely worn Aventus on rainy days and it doesn't disappoint at all.
I'd go with GIT as I've done today.

Damn.. too late. Ended up going with the Aventus and I'm not gonna try and wash it off to reapply GIT. Theres always tomorrow I guess =P

I'm enjoying this Aventus though.. but does it need to be reapplied at all later in the day or should it still be perfectly fine? Having the typical trouble of barely smelling it.

Amouage Memoir

Aventus will cut through the rain.

GIT smells great anytime, but particularly when right after it rains. Aventus is a nice scent, but, for me, GIT is a great scent.

Green Irish Tweed for the win.
