I didn't know how great the longevity of Polo Green Ralph Lauren until I tried it today.... sprayed it on this morning at 7:30 am and still smell it til now... 9 pm... it's faded, but you can still smell it

Yeah, it's among the best of them for longevity.

The original Polo is a frenzied beast. Instead of the mallet they should have given the polo guy a flame thrower.

This is an excellent men's fragrance. It is fresh and green and lasts for at least twelve hours.

I agree. It's an awesome scent. imo RL's all time best.

What about the Modern Reserve version? The strong tobacco is gone, but does the longevity remain?

It was great when it came out and still is. Worthy purchase.

Definitely agree. A true classic to be sure.

It's one of the best fragrances ever released IMO - excellent smell, sillage and longevity.

The big pony line from polo is very weak. I own #3 and it's gone within 4 hrs... Whatever Ralph put in the original, he needs to put it in all his other fragrance...

There is a conductor on my afternoon train back home that wears Polo. When I say "wear" I mean "bathe" You can smell 3 cars worth of it and smell it outside the train by 50 yards if he's walked around. Unreal. FWIW I really enjoyed Modern Reserve when I owned it. Gone now.

It's a sillage and lasting power monster imo. It beats lots and lots of EDP.

I can't stand the stuff...but I agree it lasts and is powerful. I got it in a gift set and sprayed it once and just couldn't get rid of it. I'm happy for the people that can appreciate it.

It's spicy and doesn't have strong tobbacco. But I still preffer the "father".
