Leather note in Ormonde Jayne Man?

The site does not state it, but some people detect a leather note.

Have never really noticed a leather note. Beautiful fragrance that I should wear more often.

Too floral for me. I didn't get leather either. But then, perfumery "leather" only smells of actual leather about 5% of the time to me.

No leather detected here but still an AMAZING fragrance. Sadly (or happily as the case may be) flying under the radar.

An absolutely lovely floral woudy green frag. I do not detect any leather in it though.

No leather for me either, but then I like my leathers strong. I do detect the usual dry woody OJ signature, together with, regrettably, something synthetic in the marine-woddy-amber territory that turns me off a bit. Overall, I feel that OJ man is a more synthetic, lesser version of OJ woman, and if one likes the idea, he should go for that instead.

Not here. Green, woody, some conifer resin, and a tiny touch of oudh, but no leather that I can detect.

Thank you all again for the input. I think I saw a review on Lucky Scent mentioning a leather note. (Comparing to the Ormonde Jayne.)
