Green Irish Tweed - olfactory fatigue

I returned my my 2010 batch of GIT and bought a 2011 batch (A3211P03). I find that this batch lasts a lot longer, but after an hour or so I cannot smell it on myself like I am with other fragrances (Le Male, Musc Ravageur, etc) Have any of you found that people still smell GIT on you even when you don't? I've read all about the whole olfactory fatigue thing, I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced it with GIT.

My experience has always been that if others can smell it on me so can I.

I have a 2011 batch and it's pretty damn potent. I stopped spraying this on the front of my neck and do one spray on the back of the neck, one spray on the chest, and either one on each wrist or one and touch. If your going to go with more spray do it on the chest. I've had people comment on GIT 6 feet away so be careful.

3 sprays to work the other day, and it was too strong.

GIT matures in the bottle, getting thicker and stronger over time. When I first got my 11 batch, I thought it was ok...now, it's a beast.

I have the exact same batch and it lasts close to 24 hours on me!

I have the same batch and am experiencing the same effects as you. I'm not sure if its fatigure or just not lasting the way I want it to. It gives me a pretty reliable 6 hours though. It is very different to the 09 batch I had before, this one is extremely strong and almost chemical smelling on the top, but settles nicely after 20 minutes. I enjoy this frag and am very happy to have it part of my collection.

Next time you intend to wear it, spray it nearer to your skin and then monitor it throughout the day to see if you perceive any extended longevity.

Yes, I have 2011 batch too. The other day I applied it around 10 am and a friend was still smelling it on me around 10 pm, she said it was projecting well while I couldn't smell anything at all.

try spraying further away from the nose. start with just one spray on the wrists. see how that works out, i think it will solve the issue.
