If a tornado came through and wiped out my stash.... hmm, maybe I'd commence re-stocking with Bel Ami, K10, Kouros, Azzaro pH, and Yatagan. But there are probably 30 or so others that could make that list just as well.

If I had to do it all over again and start with nothing but dust on my cologne shelf and a lingering smell of Preferred Stock on my hoodie, I'd go with:

2. Amber Absolute
3. Pure Malt
4. Dior Homme Intense

In the very order that I would purchase them:

Puig: Agua Lavanda
Guerlain: Eau de Cologne Imperiale
Givenchy: Monsieur de Givenchy
Guerlain: Mouchoir de Monsieur
Caron: En Avion

The first three are not negotiable, but If I had trouble purchasing either of the final two, I would consider Blanc Violette and Bal a Versailles.

That's a pretty easy question, I'd want scents that last and do the job.

Chrome
Laguna
XS
Aramis
Obsession

which wouldn't set me back much and would cover just about any situation. Then I could sit back and bargain hunt for new ones.

Renato

In my case, it's simple: I'd focus on the categories which are under-represented in my scent wardrobe.

In my case, it's gourmands, so I'd go on a gourmand scents shopping spree.
If I were to purchase ones that I previously owned:
1. Green Irish Tweed
2. Tobacco Vanille
3. L'ais du Desert Marocain
4. Noir de Noir
5. Aventus

If I were to start afresh and look to assemble a new wardrobe based on fragrances i've yet to own a full bottle:
1. Tonka Imperiale
2. Sycomore
3. Incense Oud
4. Portrait of a Lady
5. Xerjoff Uden or PureDistance M purely for the sake of being cavalier and throwing a blind buy in.
