Wearing vintage Santal Noble by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier.

Its a very aromatic sandalwood. It feels like they scooped up the very top of the sandalwood essential oil as opposed to using the whole oil.

Moved office to my kitchen today, and wanted something with a bit of oomph - but had a hard time deciding which one to chose, so I went for Serge Lutens' Vitriol d'oeillet on my left arm and Serge Lutens' Fleurs d'Oranger om right arm.
Lovely !

Oh, ine, I have that burning itch to feel classy every day, despite the circumstances.

Gonna have another heatbreaker today (like L., +30C, the weatherman said), and we are going on a short trip out of state, shopping -- with all my whining I sound like a broken record that there are no sniffing opportunities here in the middle of our cornsticks -- speaking of which -- yes, they started planting corn yesterday. This past weekend I also cut about 30 of our rhubarb stalks -- they are plump but not long enough though, and the pies were going like hot cakes at the restaurant (I do not know if our UKers heard it before "they ate us out of the house and the home").

Scent free, saving some real estate (rtamara's expression?) for testing.

Hello, my sweets ~ Have the computer turned on just long enough to say that all I've had on my wrists lately is what you see above. (I can go through a pair of gloves faster than I can a ml of edc.) We're going to have a crew of machines regrading around three sides of our house, and everything has to be moved out of the way or elevated to meet the new grade. This is a temporary insanity. I'll be back. You know I will.

Quarry, love the gloves photo. Stay hydrated!

For me today, it's my first time sampling...

Lavender Palm by Tom Ford

I love it. Of course, I am a big fan of lavender anything, but this one is easy to love: simple and yet stylishly velvet-like. Like I'm wearing a terry bath robe made out of lavender blossoms, if such a thing existed. I look forward to testing this again. It's so friggin' expensive, I hate paying a bunch of $ for a lavender scent, lavender is so affordable. But then again, I have had Forreau Noir on my To Buy list for a while now and that's not necessarily 'discount'. Nonetheless, if you like lavender, you gotta try LP.

Oh, I have the same problems with gloves as Quarry. I'll bet that's no exaggeration about an ml of EDC lasting longer, I totally can believe that!

I'm a lucky lady today to be house twins with Roberto, in Le Temps d'Une Fete. Hugs to everyone!

Happy Birthday teardrop! May all your wishes - fragrance-related or otherwise - come true.
