Anything Smell Like Voyage d'Hermes?

I received a sample of Voyage d'Hermes and I love the smell but what I don't like is how close it wears to the skin and how much it costs. Is there anything that you would say is like it but projects better and is less money.

I read in some of the reviews here for Voyage d'Hermes, that it smells like Bvlgari's Pour Homme Extreme?? The notes don't even remotely seem similar?

Any ideas??

EDP - Voyage D'hermes (black bottle)

The Bvlgari you mentioned.

As Voyage dries down, the tea note is reminescent of that of some Bulgari fragrances. I like the opening the best myself.

Maybe try out Eau de Cartier

(that was a really weird bump to the person above me...)

I get something similar from Bvlgari Man, though they are different.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne Sport (EDC). It smells very similar to VdH to my nose, if you can imagine VdH without the tea and figgy notes.

Voyage d'hermes doesn't smell of anything to me. It's like I'm amnosic to the entire scent.

Bulgari's Eau Parfumee au The Vert. An Ellena as well.

Something tells me that its even MORE expensive than the original. That was one of my criteria in my first post.

I appreciate all the suggestions. Any others that I should check out?

To me VdH doesn't smell like anything else I've tried - including Bulgari Extreme which I am fairly familiar with - and even if it were similar to Bulgari Extreme, it still doesn't solve your close wearing problem. You're paying for quality when buying Hermes, so I would suggest saving up and buying it if it interests you rather than trying to find a cheap substitute

I find Hermes' Apres la Mouson is quite similar though I do prefer voyage, and Burberry sport to a degree.

Yes, what smells like Voyage d'Hermes is a truckload of white musk.

This is the closest I have come across. Although there are definite differences (Voyage has plenty of citrus, Bvlgari Man has a subtle honey note) they are similar in their (minimalist) style and share a woody-musk base. And I love both.
