Givenchy Play Intense on Amazon - Legitimate?

I recently discovered Givenchy Play Intense. I found a 3.3oz on Amazon for $55, but that's so much cheaper than I see it in stores. How can I tell if it's real or fake before buying?

I have never know Amazon to sell fakes. They have too much at stake. Go for it - you're covered. If you're not happy, just return it.

Its not a great deal on Play Intense but you will actually be buying it from this company.

The one thing you should be careful of when buying from Amazon is checking to see if you are buying from Amazon.com LLC (Amazon itself) or any number of a dozen independent sellers. Buying from Amazon is the same as buying from Fragrancenet, who fullfills the vast majority of their orders (you can tell this by how both ship from Uniondale, NY and will often have identical prices). However, if you are buying from a 3rd party retailer, you should do your research to determine the quality of that retailer as some are much better than others

I wouldn't call it a great deal either. You can easily get it cheaper off eBay, though you'd have to be more wary when you're buying on eBay.

Stop by at your local Perfumania and check out some deals. Got my 100ml bottle of Play Intense for $37 tax included after 50% discount.

I'll tell you one thing, I just bought this yesterday, and it's very good. Very close to New Haarlem by Bond. My son has Play, but it turns sour on my skin. Intense stays nice and sweet.

Chuck - I'm surprised by it too. The bottle is really corny looking, but the smell is excellent and it really seems to last. I can still smell it on my t-shirt the next morning. I wish they sold it in a non-mp3-player-style bottle. I'd prefer something classy. I don't think this one makes for a good summer scent though, but in the winter, I bet it's awesome.
