Ottone (Brasss) is one of the 400th anniversary of Officina di Santa Maria Novella EDCs.

Top Notes
Rose, Bergamot, Petitgrain

Middle Notes
Oregano, Clove, Cinnamon, Pepper,

Base Notes
Sandalwood, Cedar, Incense

Yesterday, I saw this limited edition fragrance displayed in SMN Boutique in BKK, --4 bottles in Thailand and only 2 bottles left-- but I did not tried it as it has really challenging price tag of 485 U.S. Dollars (15,000 T.H. Bahts)!

Is anyone own it or has anyone tried it yet ?

Alfarom was telling me about it a few months ago.

I remember him liking it.

Sticker price is high, but it probably is excellent. I'd love to hear a first-hand report.

Yes, I also want to hear about that.

By the way, the notes do not sound metalic at all so I wonder why naming it 'Brass'.

An incensey-spicy oriental with a fougerey vibe. I was initially quite enthusiastic about Ottone but after a bunch of wearings I don't find it as interesting as it initially seemed. Extremely ambitious and complex but results somewhat nondescript and with an overall perfumey vibe which I find a tad annoying in the long term...Probably, if regularly priced, I would have bought a bottle but considering the actual price tag, no way... thumbs neutral from me...

Thanks, alfarom.

Loved it when I smelled it (in NY about a year ago, at Lafco) but at the time I was coated with scents from MiN so I can't really remember much about it.

It reminded me, slightly, of Opus IV by Amouage with no cumin. I liked it.
