This smells like a deeper version of Pulp. As if the perfumer wanted a calmer, woodier version than the blast of fruit that is Pulp. So basically this smells more interesting and complex, more...
What a beautiful citrus. Sweet, tangy, realistic orange with hints of white flowers for seriousness and wearability. My only criticism is that it fades into soap on my skin, but on fabric it...
For those reading my reviews, you know my #1 favorite cologne is Diesel, Only the Brave.. I am also a fan of that Diesel's "big brother", Fuel for Life...
Fuel comes out of the bottle with...
Ok - I am a "sucker" for new designer fragrances... Living Stromboli was one of these purchases.. I am pleasantly surprised with the scent - I just wish it lasted longer.
Out of the bottle,...
I personally never wear Aventus in the summer.. It is too heavy. I wear it the most in Fall, Winter, and cooler Spring days. I would think Aventus would choke people out in the hot summer heat. I stick with Milliseme, VI, and SMW in summer. But go with Blanche. Blanche works great in extreme heat, makes it sweeter!
Aventus would work in the summer in my opinion but I think it would be to potent for a classroom scenario. You want to smell good, sure, but you don't it to be drawing attention to youself as 'that cologne guy' in class. Allure EB would be more suited to the environment I feel.
Aventus is not a great summer fragrance. I've tried wearing it several times in 85 degree plus weather and it's really strong, dark, and dry. Blanche would be a much better choice because it stays close to the skin. Aventus has beast projection in my opinion, and any fragrance that has anywhere close to this kind of projection should be avoided at all costs in the summer heat.
EB for class. Even though it's not half as good as Aventus. For summer nights out though, Aventus will be great. Even cooler summer days. For a powerhouse, Aventus is versatile if you go easy on the trigger.

I've worn it to dinner, movies, etc at night and it's not a problem. The only way I can wear it in the heat is 1 spray on the chest and even then I've had people comment on it. I don't know what it is about Aventus, but people can pick up on this scent like someone lighting up a joint in the middle of a church service.

Is one spray to the chest of Aventus even enough to be noticed though? Seems like it wouldn't be that much. Not that I overspray Aventus, I do like only 2-3 sprays max..

I also avoid Aventus when it's hot - wore it a couple of days ago, when we had very nice weather for the season here in Denmark - it was probably circa 72-74 ℉ and I used 4 sprays of Aventus - 2 to the neck and 2 to the chest and it got a bit cloying for the first 2-3 hours to be honest.
Allure Edition Blanche is the PERFECT hot day scent - top class fragrance that gets too little attention in here.
This is interesting about Aventus. I haven't yet given it a full wearing, but from my quick trial, it seemed like GIT in that it would be well suited for warm weather. MI, on the other hand, turned cloying when hiking in 85F weather... but I think most things would be.
I'll try Aventus tomorrow. It's supposed to hit the upper 70s, but it hasn't been that warm in at least a couple of weeks here.
