AMen Original vs Pure Shot

I tested them both yesterday, and to be honest, even though it's the most popular fragrance on here, I really did not like Amen Original. The gourmand scent of vanilla/chocolate/coffee was great, but there were just other notes in there that made it repulsive. After a few hours, the scent got better, but it wasn't worth smelling so pungently bad for 3 hours.

Pure Shot, however, I really liked.

2 years ago I'd probably say same but now its otherwise. A*Men is much better fragrance as far as smell, complexity, development, projection, longevity, uniqenes, quality of ingredience and price per ml go.

Anyway they are so different that only thing that they have common is that they are from Mugler house.

A*Men is legend of gourmands. Pure Shot is average sporty fragrance.

Pure shot doesn't belong in the same sentence as A*Men. Unless that sentence is "Man I can't believe that absolute POS Pure Shot is the distant cousin of the legendary A*Men."

Im my experience people like to smell A*men in wafts rather than sticking their nose right up to the spot where it was sprayed. It's a fine fragrance, and certainly much better than Pure Shot. Give it some time, your opinion may change.

Pure Shot is horrifying. Not many fragrances are just straight up repulsive like that. I used to hate AMen, but after developing my nose, I think it's just such an excellent scent.

To my nose, Pure Shot has a lot more in common with B*Men due to the sequoia note. (BO note. Some people refer to it as the "sweaty" note) I dislike both fragrances because of this.

A*Men is a beast, not indicated for teens or shy guys, it takes some confidence to wear it, and I find it to be more suitable for cold weather.
Pure Shot - Sucks Big time!!

Definitely A*men. Give it some time before you try again.

I am also loving Angel. Wafts of Angel is quite beautiful.

Pure Shot is forgettable. I should try it again.
