F by Ferragamo Black or Carolina Herrera Chic?

Hello to every fragrance fanatic out there. I am new to the community and in debate between these two fragrances. Which one would you choose? As far as my taste goes..

I currently own:
Creed: Silver Mountain Water
Chanel: Platinum Egoiste
Burberry: Summer
Carolina Herrera: 212
Yves Saint Laurent: La Nuit de L'homme

Honestly not a fan of either but of the two - F by Ferragamo Black by default.

I owned Chic for a bit and it wasn't a bad fragrance, but it wasn't something worth buying a bottle of in my opinion. Ed Hardy's Love and Luck is similar to Chic, but does it better.

I got a sample of F from Nordstrom a few days ago and fell in love with it immediately. It's got something I can't quite put my finger on. I bought a bottle on eBay for a great price, so if you're doubtful, perhaps that's the path of least resistance.

Both are pretty cheap on eBay but I agree that CHIC isn't anything unique or special. Its nice but becomes a rather soft, subtle scent that won't affect your coworkers while F Black is much more pervasive, blooming from start to finish. Its a bit more synthetic than CHIC but not overly so. Its also more complex.

Thank you for your replies fellow basenoters I ended up purchasing F by Ferrgamo Black instead. I guess I'll stick to Carolina Herrera 212.

Agreed, this is one of those "under the radar" kind of fragrances that seems to be overlooked. As a bonus, this fragrance is a huge hit with women.

This would've been my choice as well. I haven't given Black much of a chance yet, but great choice.
