I am having a similar dilemma. I actually bought the gift set there a few months ago. I love the stuff, it just does not project. At all. My friend couldn't smell it on me when she was six inches away... But every girl (and guy) who has been close enough to smell it loves it... It does remain as a skin scent for about 8 hours on me, so if you don't mind the lack of projection, I recommend it. Le Male and Joop! Homme don't really remind me of this. The pink pepper is really prominent in Guess Seductive Homme, whereas the other two are primarily vanilla. Basically, different kinds of sweet. If I would choose between them, though, Le Male.

A*Men Le Gout du Parfum/Taste of Fragrance (Pure Chili) - Here is a flanker to the original A*Men, wherein an enhancer, in this case chili or red pepper concentrate, is added to the mix to exalt the original's notes, to wit, the versatility of the patchouli and the richness of the coffee. I might add that it is done superbly.

An alluring drydown ensues. This unique and masculine scent have average projection, 2-hour scent cloud, then becoming a skin scent, and average, 7-8 hours, longevity. Clementine, with its sweet orangey and faint floral facets, lavender with its clean, herbal character, as well as cumcumber, with its medicinal, sea-like aspect, all commingle in a brisk concoction.
