are there any inconsistencies in batch numbers with creed original vetiver?

I have just received a bottle from creed boutique batch c4011x01. Is this a good batch?

It smells a little less potent than the sample I had, could i just need to leave it maturing for a while?

thanks guys!

no idea, havent heard much about OV batch numbers. Im sure they vary a bit here and there... Like Ive said though, and Im not alone in noticing this, Creeds gets fuller/better/stronger with time for sure. I have no idea how, but I've noticed it with multiple bottles now.

Creed uses a lot of natural ingredients (ex. fruits and roots). As those natural ingredients get older, they start to get stronger (fermentation). That is why Creed has quality control issues. Natural or organic substances vary from harvest to harvest. You can grow a fruit in a certain region, and depending on the amount of sun and water received (not to mention temperature) the next harvest of fruit may taste different (more or less sweeter). Hope this info helps.
