Bond No. 9 Harrod's Limited: where and when would you wear this?

I received a sample of this today and applied a bit around 8 PM. I am really enjoying it at the moment, but am not sure I would want to wear this anyplace other than my own house for my own enjoyment. It has a woody sourness to it that other people may find offensive. What has your experience been with this one?

I don't know the limited edition, sorry. But the regular Harrod's Oud is excellent and I think it can be worn anywhere and anytime.

I'm assuming you are talking about Harrods Swarovski Crystal Oud Edition?

I wore mine out dancing once and received a compliment. Surprised me because its such a esoteric, yet realistic oud scent. If you like it, wear it wherever the hell you want to. I can't imagine it offending anyone. It's one of my favorite oud fragrances because it captures a portion of how real oud oil smells.

Harrods Swarovski Crystal Oud Edition?

This is correct. I have not had the opportunity experience real oud, but I certainly do enjoy this Bond scent. Would you wear this year round, or do you think it would be a bit much for us here in a Florida summer?

I've only worn it at night (in Summer). If you wore it during a hot day I could imagine it getting a bit...cloying.

I've only tried regular Harrod's Oud and didn't like it.

I'm a bit reluctant to wear oud scents. I'll would wear M7, the By Kilian Ouds, and most Montale Ouds no problem, but it takes balls to pull of the more animalistic ouds like Leather Oud, Le Labo Oud 27, Al Oudh etc.

As of right now Mona Di Orio Oud is my favorite use of Oud.

Although I received mine at the beginning of this year, I will wear it year round, whenever it suits me.
You can always adjust your application of it.

I thought that HSLE was hard to wear at first. Its much lighter with 2 or 3 sprays though I find myself spraying 4 or more at times. Its my favorite of the modern Ouds with Mona di Orio as a close second.

It's really a scent about myrrh and vetiver at least as much as it is about oud. I find it works excellently in the winter months, especially on snowy days. I've never actually tried it in particularly hot weather - I'll have to change that!

It's a good one, and I wear it out just about anywhere; my most recent wearing was while shopping at Costco. I've received compliments on it, even from people who I wouldn't have expected to enjoy an oud-based scent.

It's a good one. I wear it to work, to the clubs, just about anywhere. As stated, a couple of sprays is good.

Harrod's Oud is a great fragrance but I have no need for the limited edition bottle...

I find it rather exotic and elegant, so I tend to wear it to unusual or formal events rather than everyday stuff. Unless my nose craves it of course....

This is the perfect location to wear a really expensive, luxurious fragrance.

Alright, I wore it again today and I am stricken, so I called BN9 up and bought a bottle sans bling. Should have it Monday or Tuesday.
