Decided to go in and try several that I've been interested in.
Tried out...
YSL L'Homme, nice but want overwhelmed enough to want to buy it.
L'Eau D'Issey - does anyone else get a rotten fruit vibe right at the opening on this one, it didn't last very long, but was enough to turn me off from this one. The drydown was nice though.
Tom Ford Azure Lime: I would have walked out with this in my hand, but the reports on longevity made me think twice.
Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, Pure soap, and I really don't like soapy fragrances.
I also tried several of the other Tom Ford's more appropriate for Fall like Oud Wood, Amber Absolute, Italian Cypress, and loved them all.
Also tried MI again and after a few tries have grown to really enjoy the smell, but it was gone from my wrist in about 90 minutes. Not very impressive. Still, one of the most enjoyable scents of the day.
Still on the hunt for that next great niche summer fragrance, have yet to try any Bond's but There aren't many local distributors.
