I only own 4 Serge Lutens - will get some more, so received the concretes of the Palais Royal

The Serge Lutens customer service in France is very nice.
I emailed them and they ship me some concretes of the Palais Royal's collection.

I don't know how many samples this contains - and how I apply them, but supposedly you rub your skin with the concrete and the scent should go from top notes to mid notes in a matter of just 5-10 minutes and the base notes within 15 minutes.

Has anyone actual experience with these concretes of the Palais Royal collection from serge Lutens and how they work ?

Thanks in advance BN'ers

I got them too some time ago. Actually, they are only the base notes. No top and middle, just the base, the drydown of the juice.
And you apply them like you would apply a cream because that is what they are actually, a perfumed cream.

Enjoy them!

Thanks - how many samples did you get in the booklets ?

Holy crapsie, that sounds awesome !!

I think Serge Lutens might be my new favorite winter/fall niche/designer house, while Creed is my favorite spring/summer niche/designer.
Good chance I will own at least 12 Creeds for spring/summer and 12 Lutens for fall/winter by the end of the 2012......

They gave me the concretes too when I bought something at the Palais Royale store, and as PaveLL was saying, I got the samples for *all* their exclusive collection (which includes some that are in the export line as well).

As Pavell was saying, I don't think they are optimized - solids evaporate in a different way than alcohol, so you may have go get the skin warmer to get all the notes. But the base should be there clearly.

It's puzzling what utility concretes furnish.

Not really reflective of the actual perfumes.

The Fourreau Noir wax and the Fourreau Noir liquid are quite the same when the perfume dries down. I can not talk about the others since I have not tried them yet, but the concrete FN is pretty accurate.
