Gucci pour homme question (I'm confused)

Is this thing discontinued? I promise I'm not asking a dumb question. According to BN, it's in production, but a few of the reviews say it's discontinued. I just got a 50 ml for $45 thinking I scored something rare, but then I saw it at sephora for $73 for 100ml. What's the deal here? Thanks a lot I advance

Discontinued just means they're no longer producing new bottles, that doesn't mean all the vendors just threw out their bottles and you can't find it anywhere anymore. Some dept stores still have stock that they're trying to get rid of and it's still readily available online

Haha nah, it's Gucci pour homme. Square bottle with orangey juice, not Gucci by Gucci. Also, sorry to be annoying, but can anyone help me with an authenticity check per chance? I see "scannon SA 33 rue Francois"...and there's a 4 digit number 0863. Again, thanks so much!

My box says the same thing and I have digits 0105 on both the bottom of the box and the bottle. However, that doesn't necessarily prove it's authentic, but at the same time I haven't heard of this one being one that's being faked

A few Sephora stores may still have remaining stock, but they no longer list it on the Sephora website.

Just checked the online boutique and it's no longer available (it was very recently) but it might be worth calling a boutique near you. I'm sure they must sell what they have left rather than just throw it out because of discontinuation.

I've still seen both Gucci Pour Homme 1 & Gucci Pour Homme 2 on the shelves at some Sephoras over the past 6 months or so. I think both are officially discontinued, but I guess some locations are just trying to sell out what they have remaining.

Yes, I've seen the same thing. After I heard it was being discontinued (from a BN member who got some word from someone inside the industry), there was a brief surge in availability - and I'll bet you're right - they were dumping it all.

I haven't seen an ad for the older Guccis - not just in recent memory, but since I've been a BNer. This was pretty much bound to happen.

I have a fake bottle that my mom got at a flea market. Compared to my bottle from ebay, the cap and sprayer are different and cheap-looking. And the scent itself is very thin, something kind of fresh like cucumber shower gel. Nothing like the real scent at all.

OMG - that has to be the worst fake ever! The GPH are notoriously strong and woody. That's not even in the ballpark!

Yeah, it's pretty heinous. It's not something you would even want to smell like, very cheap-smelling.
