Can you give some news about the montale´s affair..spinned-off ?????

One says Montales is out of the market.
Others, that it is only they are in process of checking their inventories and they had a cutback ( store and production ).( 15 days )
I did not like the stories, articles, I have read about them.
The palestine ( supposed owner, seems Bob Laden Corleone ) and our " friend " Pierre, has disappeared. Celine is still at the shop, but does not talk about.
Please, would somebody tell me what is going on precisely...???
tks to you all.

I called the Montale shop in Paris, 26 Place Vendome and the shop is not there anymore.

I'm not 100% sure but I think they changed the name from Montale too something else, and there was a dispute between the owner and perfumer or something like that. It seems they are slowly disappearing off the market...

Not to sound the alarms, but now could be a good time to stock up on your fav Montales.

Do you know if they have relocated to another address yet?

Tanelli was the name under which it sometimes circulated. It would be interesting to see what happens in the middle east.

So hedonist's favorite store now sells lingerie?

I don't think we know what is going to happen to Montale yet, or what has happened to them. I simply can't imagine that they are gone forever! What will happen to all the unsold fragrances? Will a new shop open as we have been told in June? Will the products be re-bramded? Unfortunately I believe we will just have to wait and see. The website is still running so I continue to have hope until I hear something more definitive.

Their website is revamped but no word on the new location, strange.

I'd have thought they'd try to implement an e-store on their webpage by now. Good to know they are still operating though.
Has anybody called to make any orders by phone, meanwhile?
I am very curious too. Very interested to try some montale fragrances but I have no idea how to order now.
Their website states that the new shop will open at the end of June. Well it's 1st of July now so I guess they should be making a statement v shortly.

I'm fearing the worst...

Stock up people!!!!

Luckily for me my only Montale that I love is Red Vetyver. I prefer it to TdH, but if Montale disappears I am comforted knowing TdH will be a very worthy substitute.

I would be devastated if Montale were no more. I'm not joking.

If it's not the end, it's probably going to be a major change in what they offer in their fragrance line. I know there's some fans on basenote's but overall I find almost their entire line odd and something only a mother could love.

This is one of the few companies that I have not sampled anything from, so it would be a bit of a shame if they went under before I had to chance to properly explore them. Sounds like they are not a large operation, and are consequently taking a bit longer than expected to re-establish their business. They are a popular brand, so I can't imagine they would simply disappear from the marketplace, barring legal complications. I guess, at worst, their products will persist in the second-hand market for some time.

Found some updates today on MinNewYork's twitter page. This should shed some light into what's going on, assuming the news is accurate:
http://www.twitlonger.com/show/i4bg7i

They also mentioned Montale's new fragrance, Santal Wood. They gave their product link to it: https://minnewyork.com/montale-santa...fum-100ml.html

According to the twitter page, "they're still going to be around".

I will wait their return as I like their line very much.
I was taking an e-order with them when they closed last months.
Please back again healthy Montale. But please discontinue 70% of your giant line, keep your 20 best sellers and release 1 fragrance each 6 or 12 months, to we have the right time to appreciate it.

Even if Amar Atmeh is the real name behind the company, Tanelli sounds like a pasta company, doesn't have the air that "Montale" does. Yeah I agree with daniel, they need to streamline their product range and come up with better names, I mean come on "Santal Wood" lmaooo haha. I would really like to know who really comes up with their fragrances , its not Pierre Montale and I am quite sure its not Amar Atmeh.

Just announced on their Facebook page a few minutes ago:

We are with the regrets to announce to you that the Montale shop will reopen only in September.
For all requests contact Hiba: 06 22 00 82 90 as indicate on the website.

Thank you for your comprehension,
Montale's team.
I doubt it will even reopen in September, so bizarre first they have a supposed "big location" which was slated for an early June opening then late June now its September. I think Ammar Atmeh won the lawsuit he had with Pierre Montale.
Very strange. I think that, even when they reopen, I would be hesitant to do business with them directly, and would prefer to buy their stuff through other retailers online. They just seem too unstable right now.

I got my Montales at Perfume Shoppe in Vancouver and online through them and recommend them highly.

Now they're saying on their Facebook page, in response to somebody criticizing the delay of the openng of the Paris shop and mentioning the Montale/Tanelli affair:
"Montale Parfums is owned by Pierre Montale, and fragrances are developed in France (Grasse). I don't know where you find this informations but it's not true. You just have to read the informations on the packaging to see the provenance. Moreover, we had problems because someone was made pass for the creator. We are sorry for the shop in Paris but sometimes the things does not occur as it would be liked".
Do you believe this? If it turns out to be boll#cks, I'm going to be pretty angry at them.

I don't believe #$%& of it, I'm afraid Montale is digging its own grave...

Montale's new location for the Montale shop will be in the 8th arr. of Paris. Rue Francoise 1st Serbie,. FYI the same street as the flag store of CREED.

What I really fear is that the direct ordering with the gift 20 ml bottle is a thing of the past now.
