Bobbie Brown lipstick: blush 65 / T Le clerc transparent lipstick

The blush 65 lipstick is a perfect neutral shade and texture to me. It has been d/c and I'm scrambling to find a replacement - but is apparently due to come out again this fall, due to popular demand.

In the meantime, I've tried Musk by Nars, Avante Garde by Rouge Coco, and they're okay, but still too "there" on me to have a naturally defined look.

I'm interested in the new lipstick line by T. LeClerc - transparent lipstick - something like that - has anyone had a chance to test or use those? How natural in finish and color are they?

To be honest Bobbi Brown lipsticks turn on me very quickly, like less than a year. Yes they develop that crayon smell and taste.

Nars lipsticks are fabulous!!! Bare Lips I did own and they matched my own lip colour very well for a understated look.

You are so right, those BB lipsticks turn quickly. I've purchased some that have already turned! They have a quality control problem. Maybe they don't clear out old stock routinely enough, I don't know....

Agree that LM texture is nice - I used to wear Pink Champagne in LM, but then they changed the name about two years ago (copyright infringement issue) - I'll check out the LM counter, thank you.

The T. LeClerc lipsticks are nice, but the Barney's I was at (downtown chicago) had the most obnoxious SA - was not going to purchase anything from her. She had the gall to say, "They're only twenty-five dollars." I couldn't believe it.

Anyway, getting a lot of wear from Avante Garde in the meantime. thank you!
