Today I Bought - June 2012 - Page 2

That was me who won that partial bottle of Fumerie Tourque on E-bay yesterday.

Got myself in a bit of a panic that I would never be able to find it anywhere, I must admit. Seems I'm not the only one feeling that way, given the somewhat frantic attention it attracts when it comes up on the Bay these days.

the mpg and 10 corso como already had them (almost finished, that's why i bought them again, plus, really good deal from the us ebay), but couldn't help myself and HAD TO open the ambre fetiche as soon as possible and give it a good spray on my wrist, one of the rare ambers that i like, been waiting to get this one for a long time.

I am really enjoying this one. However, the name is a bit misleading. I find the jasmine to take a back seat to the amber and spices. It's also a little "dirty" - but I like that.

Okay so I have to eat my words (from the thread about this scent) but I snagged one of those 10ml Tom Ford bottles (the ones that the SA's have behind-the-counter, before a scent is released) of Lavender Palm. I know I said it was too expensive but I nabbed this one on eBay at an affordable price and it'll allow me to enjoy it this Summer...I'm going to take it with me to Provincetown (MA) next month.

I was at Nordstrom yesterday and I tried the entire range of rereleased classics and I was blown away with all of them. Tuscany, Devin, New West, JHL-- they were all scents that I remember smelling in the days when men weren't afraid to smell like men. I already have the rerelease of Havana and I love it. I think I'm going to have to buy the rest of the series as well. I can't believe how amazing these are.

I bought a fresh new 3.4 ounce bottle of Bulgari Pour Homme yesterday. I've been on a real Bulgari kick; I really enjoy Soir and Extreme, but sometimes that grapefruit of Extreme is not what I'm looking for. Bulgari Pour Homme is such a unique and wonderful men's musk scent. Classy scent, classy bottle-- makes me feel great every time I wear it.
