please help me find my summer cologne

Hi, I'm 25 years old and I'm looking for a cool, fresh and crisp cologne for the summer.

My favorite cologne has been "CK Be". I really like its woody musky scent cuz I find it very chic

unfortunately, I know for a fact that CK Be is not the best choice when summer comes around

So I've been looking for my new cologne for summer and I just bought "Emporio Armani White" from Amazon.com

Because its review was so great and everyone seems to like it. BUT, oh my god. That was a huge mistake! Even if it's clearly said "For Man" This smells like a girl!! I'm really regretting it right now and I don't want to make the same mistake ever again!

I heard this from somewhere that when it comes to summer, "Green, Woody, Musk, Ginger" are the 4 essential elements.

I want to smell like a cool guy not like a girl. but don't get me wrong I like unisex style but I felt Armani White was just too feminine.

I used to get compliments when I wore CK Be. One of them was "You smell like a millionaire." I really liked it.

and I'm looking for summer cologne that would give me the same compliment

The cologne should be FOR THE SUMMER. It should smell like Young, Simple, Chic, Classy and Rich.

In case you wonder how I look like, I kinda look like the actor Justin Long. Same hairstyle and at least we have similar atmosphere.

Would you please recommend me a good one? Where can I get this kind of cologne? If you know any, please let me know.

Don't believe everything you read, except for what's below ↓↓↓.

cK One Shock for Him by Calvin Klein - One is initially treated to a mildly fresh accord. Clementine, with its sweet orangey and faint floral facets, lavender with its clean, herbal character, as well as cumcumber, with its medicinal, sea-like aspect, all commingle in a brisk concoction. A cloud of something, perhaps aldehydes or the cryptic, energy drink accent, imparts an effervescence to the invigorating blend. Transitioning to the heart, a field day with herbs is had. Leafy, black basil, with its licorice accent, vivacious and woody black pepper as well as mildly spicy and sweet cardamom encase the opening. A nascent tobacco serves as a backdrop to the herbal jubilation. Segueing to the base, the rich and spicy tabacco has come into full bloom, while an earthy mustiness of patchouli flitters about. A pleasant ambrene wood infuses its laurel-like, sweet and spicy, woody overtures. And, a casheran musk imparts its velvety, somewhat floral bouquet. An enjoyable drydown ensues. This versatile composition is an all-season scent with average projection and average longevity, 6-8 hours. Its favorable price point makes this fragrance even more welcomed.

And, try 2 cheapies made by Lanvin, which are both year-round scents that can be worn in the summer:
Oxygene Homme
Lanvin L'Homme Sport

For a more expensive, high-quality scent, try:

Allure Homme Sport by Chanel - I dare say it is one of best, overall, summer fragrances. It's a fantastic journey from its sharp, orange, citrus opening, through its imaginative, peppery, neroli and cedar heart, thence morphing into its exquisite, creamy and sexy, white musk and vetiver base.

I agree with this suggestion! I would like to pick this one up before I go to the beach next week - no scratch that, I will have this fragrance before then! If I ever had to recommend a safe summer blind-buy, it would be this.

Hi, I'm 25 years old, male, looking for summer cologne. I had posted the same title before but this time I'll go more specific about what I really want.

My favorite cologne is still "CK Be". The smell represents my age, I like its richness and clean vanilla scent. I'll keep using this as soon as summer is over.

BUT, right now it's summer and I'm well aware of the fact that CK Be is not summer scent. So I'm looking for a summer cologne that smells like RICH.

I don't like cheap smelling cologne. I wanna get a compliment like 'he smells expensive'

I'm not a cologne collector. All I need is just one masterpiece summer cologne in my hand. I'm looking for 10/10

I had some recommendations before so I bought samplers of those and

here is what my reaction to what I've tested

John Varvatos Artisan - I liked it but it's not a masterpiece. It's a tad synthetic. Good smell but it doesn't have rich and sophisticated side. I gave it 8/10

Bond No.5 Chez Bond - kinda liked it but felt like it is eligible for over 30 years old. lilttle bit older man scent.

Dirty English - I'd call it a masterpiece 10/10. It's just not for summer.

CK one shock - Omg. I have sprayed it 2 times and never been using it since. I just don't wanna use it again

Creed Silver Mountain - The Worst cologne I've ever smelt. Silver Mountain has been recorded as my first vial to be thrown right into the garbage can after I smelt it. really hated it. seemed to contain gasoline or diesel or somethin

I even tried Lacoste Essential and it smelt like a kid from youth soccer club.

where is the masterpiece at??

please recommend the right cologne for me..

There's a lot of good summer fragrances.

-lacoste essantials
-D&G The One
-Love and luck ed hardy
-YSL L'homme (my favorite)
-Azzaro chrome

you won't go wrong with any of these.. sample before you buy.
you need to sample: leau dissey by issey myake, dior homme sport, chanel allure homme sport, and versace eau fraiche. One of those is sure to be your new scent! And if you dont mind buying a more pricey cologne, check out creeds Virgin Island Water. Arguably one of the best niche summer colognes out there. You smell rich when you wear creed. And very classy.
Try something that has a dominant Vetiver note, like Tom Ford Grey Vetiver.
If its cool you're after try Nuit Etoilee-Annick Goutal Althoughthe notes may lead you to think its heavy, its not. AG has a mastertouch for softening somewhat loud notes. Definitely give it a sniff. Maybe Eau de Sud as well. Great House

Do you have a budget in mind?
