How about Tommy Bahama St Barts? I've heard great reviews about it and plus it's cheap. I saw a 1 oz tester for $6.19 on www.fragrancenet.com

There are fragrances with marine-like accords in them like Bvlgarvi Aqva Pour Homme Marine, Nautica, Ed Hardy Love and Luck, and Wall Street by bond no 9. The one I really love is Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme Marine, it really smells like the ocean. Very well done fragrance!

Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme Marine. ive smelled this one and i really do like it. How long do you get for longevity with this on you? also how is the projection?

Mugler Cologne, Fahrenheit 32, the Blu Mediterraneo line by ADP, Quasar by J del Pozo, Roadster by Cartier, Agua de Loewe, to name only the few ones that come to my mind instantly as very suitable for summer wear.

+1 Mugler cologne and Roadster

The Tommy Bahama Set Sail St. Barts at first comes off synthetic as all get out but then gets that lime and lemon drydown vibe and lasts a decent time on my skin. Look around on here if you like the smell of it there were some on the sale threads before.

I don't own this fragrance, but whenever I spray on myself in the department store, I smell like it for hours afterwards. So I'm estimating good projection and good longevity. All pluses!

If youre looking for an oceanic scent, try Bvlgari Aqua and Bvlgari Aqua Marine. These are what aquatics should be as they have that sea salt ocean vibe. Bvlgari Aqua is darker, think deep sea , youre on the beach and the clouds are gray, really windy and about to rain. Aqua Marine is more of a sunny day casual sea scent

I'm'a go with Virgin Island Water as I bought it specifically for summer, and I'm finding Allure Homme Sport does nicely in the heat as well. Also, it's worth a mention that I found that Millesime Imperial really shines in the heat.

Try:

Aqua Fahrenheit by Christian Dior - This is a considerably toned down version of the original, masterpiece Fahrenheit. No negative connotation is implied or should be taken; rather, this is a distinctive composition, somewhat bright and fresh, with ties to the original.
Initially, one is treated to a blast of sparkling grapefruit, with its sour greenness, tempered by a hint of sweetness from the mandarin. This invigorating, citrus melange is drawn to the heart by a nascent mint. Here, in the heart, the cool spearmint comes into its own with its sweet, green facets, and commingles with violet leaf, with its intense freshness and a hint of cucumber. Basil infuses the refreshing blend with a lively dusting of its lemon-like, savory herb. A very faint undercurrent of petro/gasoline can be sensed. Transitioning to the base, a rather ordinary, woods accord presents, and interplays with a light, almost airy, Haitian vetiver as well as a subtle leather. A placid drydown ensues. This high-quality composition is bright and fresh, and should prove to be very versatile. Having average projection and longevity, this scent will, indeed, shine in the spring, summer and fall.
