I can't believe he actually said that. No wait! I can.

My mother is full of old sayings..."If you want apples stand under an apple tree " is one.

Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas.

I can never think of them when I try. My brain freezes.

I see some great ones so far!

I'm a big philosophy fan, and though I don't agree fully with Jean Paul Sartre he has many solid points, such as:

I am responsible for everything except for my very responsibility, for I am not the foundation of my being. Therefore everything takes place as if I were compelled to be responsible. I am abandoned in the world... in the sense that I find myself suddenly alone and without help, engaged in a world for which I bear the whole responsibility without being able, whatever I do, to tear myself away from this responsibility for an instant.

and....

"Man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does.

In short, man's biggest burden is freedom, yet it makes us who we are. We are responsible for our actions, and this is the biggest burden possible. Weird, don't ya think??
