What are some of your favorite aquatic fragrances? The first fragrance i ever bought was Cool Water which is an aquatic. It's pretty good. What do you guys think?

+1 for Aqva Marine, it has very good longevity and projection too.

Creed's EROLFA.
Bulgari Aqua PH...NOT Marine version....is one of the tops. Great salty/spicy kick. Lasts all day on me.
I love Bvlgari Aqva Marine! Also Like Nautica Vayage.
Green Irish Tweed.

I have always had a fondness for Z Zegna. Its got this light spice and a tinge of what smells of black tea among an aquatic accord. Always found it pleasant, albeit not as long lasting as I would like.

Seduction in Black (aquatic/gourmand)
Nautica Voyage
Bvlgari Aqva Marine

In my opinion:

Boss Eelements Aqua
Baldessarini del Mar
Hugh Parsons Blue
the Blu Mediterraneo series by ADP
The HdP Edition Rare frags, especially Petroleum and Rosam. Do they qualify?

Generally not an aquatic fragrance fan.
Not sure if it is considered aquatic by many people, but everytime I crave something melon-y (melon is not in the note but it does smell melon-y to my nose) and salty I reach for Womanity by Thierry Mugler
post #28 of 93
Acqua Di Gio is #1.
Bvlgari Aqva PH is #2.
+1 New West for Him.

I'll add an aquatic/floral hybrid that is super inexpensive... Bellagio for Men.
Cool Water (pre-2008 version! with script "Davidoff" font) still works like magic one me. The current version lacks the freshness and goes more to the sweet side due to cheaper ingredients.

Miyake, also +1 as it's strong, fresh and longlasting!
And +1 to Bvlgari Aqva Marine which I consider better, longer lasting and fresher smelling than it's brother.

wearing it right now and I love it. predominantly coconut and salt with some tropical fruit, a little musk, and vanilla. Great beach/summer scent. Not a projection monster, which I think is the point.

Sounds right up my summer-time alley. Thanks, mcurtiss!!

Bulgari Aqua
Ferre's Acqua Azzurra is a good one as is L' eau par Kenzo pour Homme IMO.
Acqua di gio

I even felt seasick sometime
Good to see AdG getting lots of mentions. It's a very nice frag which doesn't deserve all the flack it usually gets on BN.

In no particular order:

Sel Marin by Heeley
Beyond Paradise for Men by Estee Lauder
Bulgari Aqua pour Homme Marine by Bulgari
L'Eau par Kenzo pour Homme by Kenzo

Acqua Di Gio & Bvlgari Aqva are my favorites for true aquatics.

Others I like include Versace Pour Homme (kind of a sweet evening or cooler weather aquatic), Tommy Bahama Very Cool (I prefer this over any of the Set Sail series), Perry Ellis 360 Red, Paris Hilton Just Me, Sean John I Am King, Burberry Summer (2010 & 11 editions), Davidoff Cool Water Summer Fizz, CB I Hate Perfume's At The Beach 1966, Bond No 9's Andy Warhol Montauk, Estée Lauder's Beyond Paradise (moreso the drydown than the topnotes), & Calvin Klein's Eternity Aqua (an improved version of Polo Blue with more aquatic notes and less of a fougere feel ).

L'artisan Batucada and Creed Erolfa.
Erolfa
Sel Marin
Acqua Di Gio
Bvlgari Aqva (not Marine, that stuff stinks and gets complaints)
Sexual Fresh (cheap, almost powdery aquatic)
Bvlgari Aqva. This one keeps growing on me and has surpassed a lot of other fresh scents, including MI!
I don't know if something is wrong with my nose but I get a very distinct and wonderful scent of wet leather in the mid from Bvlgari Aqva.
Bvlgari Aqva - such a great scent, even if I'm not sure if it's an aquatic per se cause I'm pretty sure I can't smell any calone in this fragrance. Yes it smells like sea water but calone is the note that actually makes a fragrance an aquatic for me.

And of course: Jesus del Pozo's "Quasar" - for me one of the nicest, most delicious aquatics out there.
Halston Unbound is Acqua di Gio done right. Lasts longer. More complex, with some of the initial sweetness balanced by the tomato leaf note.

Bulgari Aqva is quite nice. Tiffany for Men Sport is Bulgari Aqva's more refined cousin from the Swiss Alps.

Guy Laroche Horizon is wonderful.
My favorite aquatics are:

Millesime Imperial
Nautica Voyage
Beyond Paradise
Issey Miyake Eau D'Ete Summer Edition 2009
Adventure Quasar

I'm dying to try Sel Marin.
I like Aqua Fahrenheit. It's aquatic, in an unusual way...
They've already been mentioned:

1.Gai Mattiolo Uomo by Gai Mattiolo-----------Anytime, anywhere
2.Creed Erolfa---------------------------------Yes, I still insist you have to be by the seashore. If so, it's the best.
Clinique's Happy for Men is the only aquatic I have any feeling for.
I like Bvlgari Aqva and Sel Marin. Thinking of purchasing Acqua do Gio too.
Sel Marin and Tirrenico.
You know you seriously you might try to get a sniff of The Different Co.'s Sel de Vetiver. I 'm not sure I'd classify it as an aquatic but it has an aquatic kind of vibe; has kind of a salty seaside thing going on. A terrific and unique fragrance and very popular with a lot of fragheads, Fraghead.
Another +'s for Acqua di Gio, L'Eau D'Issey, and Bulgari Aqua PH.
