Virgin Island Water - REOPENED - - Page 4

WOW! I just looked at my doorstep and I knew exactly what it was!

Meticulously packaged! The bottle is AMAZING quality and it's masterfully
labeled. I wouldn't mind leaving it out on the counter it's so good looking
but ill likely keep it in a cool dark place due to ocd. *twitches*

Nowww. Where does one wear the awsumeness of Creed Windsor? I've
honestly taken showers, put on a fresh tee shirt, sprayed, and --

...jumped into bed. So stoked. I love the way it smells.

Haha. Thanks! I tried. Glad the presentations are somewhat living up to the splitters' standards and even to a fraction of the fragrances'.

And OMG. I had a hard time decanting this one. I had pipette steady in one hand and Windsor bottle in the other, and I kept drifting away in a visionless daydream, surrounded by a divine cloud of Creed Windsor. Then I'd wake up in my own drool (but still harmlessly far away from the open flacon).

It is a masterwork, Windsor.

To give everyone an update, I have been busy cramming for my Calculus II test tomorrow and working on my chemistry take-home test, all the while having to work a few days during the week. I have the Aventus #5 already decanted and packaged, but I haven't yet had the time to go online to fill out and print any of the shipping labels or even make a trip to the post office.

I haven't been able to sort out and send payment requests for either GIT or Amber Absolute. Will be soon, guys, I promise!

Now, back to the maths.

Jeff,

Thank you for an awesome experience with the Windsor split! Now I know why folks consider it as a masterpiece among the Creed fragrances.

I might do another Windsor. Anyone else interested?

I'm seconds from walking out the door to go to work and to stop by the post office to ship out the Aventus #5 splits. Aventus #6 flacon should be here sometime today, just waiting on the UPS guy. I will order Aventus #7 tonight when I return home. #8, I haven't forgotten about you guys. I'll reply to all of my emails tonight. I really haven't had time to get back to anyone this week--so this update is my attempt to acknowledge everyone.

GIT payment request emails have been sent out, with Amber Absolute emails going out right after I'm done with this post. The Tobacco Vanille flacon is expected to arrive tomorrow; Musc Ravageur is on schedule for delivery on Tuesday, October 16.

I want to thank everyone for their patience.

Jeff

Jeff

I'm still interested since I wasn't able to get in on the other one. I don't really plan on buying many other fragrances now that I'm probably gonna have TL and Aventus (though if you put Jubilation XXV up I'll be on that like butter to toast).
Id most likely still be interested in Windsor if you do another, also.
Count me in on a Windsor split too.
I may also be interested in the Windsor.
I would be interested in another GIT split or Amber Absolute Split.
You sir, are a bad influence!
Aventus batch is amazing. Packaging and bottle look superb. Any concerns about not having the original bottle have flown away. Thanks Jeff! Do let me know if you ever plan to stop because I will snag another one for the future.

Also very interested in future TFs and tempted to try out Windsor, blind.
A+! Good luck on the tests bud!
Sounds like there are enough people to completely split a bottle (that or we would need one more). Either way, I suggest you call NM and see if they still have some available!
Upon hearing the availability of windsor, I am most DEFINITELY in on the Windsor split. Hopefully you can snag one Jeff, consider me paid!
Only one more spot left on Tom Ford Noir de Noir (the list hasn't been updated yet). Come on.....regular price of NdN is $205.00, plus tax. The split is a measly $110.00.

Thats awesome. I was the 2nd one in on that split. Was beginning to worry it was gonna take awhile. Good to hear only one spot left.
I would also buy a Windsor and a TF Amber Absolute...

The new Windsor split is already full (before it even opened!), and Amber Absolute is discontinued. I was only able to find one flacon.

I went home after school this morning and decanted the Aventus #6 split. Didn't have time to label or package them, though. I'm getting ready to leave for New Orleans now to pick up the Amber Absolute. We're still waiting on one more payment, but I'm going today anyway because I won't have another chance to drive there for another two weeks at the very least.
I would be interested in a Windsor as well.
Will there be any more Windsor splits?

Just got my Aventus! Thank you Jeff, you are the man!!
I would be interested in the Aventus split. Would you happen to know when it will be available? (50mL)

Thanks!!
I would be interested in an Aventus, Millesime Imperial split. 50ML would suffice. If there's bigger, the better.
Hi Jeff,

Will there be any more Windsor split? If yes, I'm :-)
Any possibility of a BdP split?
I'd also be interested in a Bois du Portugal split eventually if you do end up doing one by request soccerhero, looking forward to bottle #8 of Aventus in the mean time!
BdP please!

After my wife and I made a trip to Neiman Marcus, I must rescind this question. I enjoyed it, but my wife does not like BdP

However, I don't know where you live, but the Neiman Marcus in SF had 1 flacon left of Windsor as of yesterday!
Another Creed Windsor split please!
I'd also like to get in on a Windsor split if it happens.

Definitely interested in GIT or Aventus next time that happens.

Hey all!

I was able to decant these today, but couldn't get to the post office before 5:00. Not sure if I'll be able to get them out tomorrow; I have school from 9:30-4:15, and have to get home to do some cleaning and cooking for a dinner party here. I will definitely try, fellows. I will definitely try.

BTW, I tried to "Brian Chambers" the Musc Ravageur, but my syringe needle wouldn't go down all the way? I may have been doing it wrong, or maybe Frederic Malle sprayers are different. I don't know. I lost just a couple milliliters from spraying, but I sprayed as slowly as I could, and a lot of the sprays were full streams. I'm confident it will still smell the same. Sexy, sexy stuff.

Both Noir de Noir and Windsor have been ordered.

I will do payment requests for Aventus #8, Tobacco Vanille #3, and Millesime Imperial soon, but I don't think I will open an Aventus #9 or any other flacon split for another month or so. So if you've emailed me about an Aventus split recently, there is a big chance I won't be doing yours. This was kind of a last-minute decision, and I realized that I don't want to be holding anyone's money or having a flacon sit on my balcony or at the post office for a week. I'm planning on taking a trip to New York City the week of Thanksgiving, and I don't want any incomplete splits waiting while I'm gone. I'll let you all know the goings-on!

Night,
Jeff

Awesome -- thanks Jeff!
I received my Aventus on Monday as well, and I was blown away. The atomizer and label are top notch. I also received my first-ever random cologne compliment the first time I wore it. I was in an elevator with two girls and one of them stopped in the middle of her sentence to ask me what I was wearing, and said it smelled amazing.

Thanks Jeff.
I received my Tobacco Vanille today, and will restate the great job you did with the presentation and packaging. It definitely looks more like an actual retail bottle than it does a split. Also, thanks for the meticulous job in packaging the bottle before shipping it out. Your bottle was much more secure than the 20+ bottles I have purchased in the last few months.

You're welcome!

So... there are (3) spots open for Millesime Imperial, and (2) for Virgin Island Water. Anyone want to help these guys out and get an awesome Creed fragrance while you're at it?

If these don't fill within a few days, I'll have to put them on hold for a month.

Just emailed you to get in on both of these. Hope they fill up!

I received my Aventus (from split #6) yesterday, and was able to get home to open it tonight.

Let me tell everyone right now, Jeff is a class act. He was so informative along the way. He always responded to emails and questions, kept me informed from the start, and always told it as it was. The packaging is TOP NOTCH and I cannot say enough about how amazing everything is.

If you are looking for a quality split, look no further! Ordering from soccerhero is the best decision you could make! You won't be disappointed.

On a side note, thank you Jeff for being a great friend to me. What you sent me was far beyond anything I was expecting.
Hey Jeff I sent an email to you too on the MI split. Do let me know if I got the spot. Thanks!

Any updates soccerhero?

Did you receive the GIT Flacon yet?

Are all payments in on bottle #8 Aventus? If so has the Flacon been ordered?

Just got an email from someone who is backing out of a VIW split, so again we have (1) spot open for Virgin Island Water. Someone please take this!

@gmm150, a few Basenoters are affected by Hurricane Sandy, so that's causing some of the delays.

I hope that everyone is doing all right. Hang in there!

@SneezeFreeze, I will return to conducting splits in late November. I won't be taking any reservations or keeping a waiting list until then. It'll be best if you check back when I'm up and running again.

I got the GIT yesterday, and Aventus #7 came in this afternoon. No decanting yet. The Tom Fords are both expected within the next two days.

For Windsor: I hadn't seen any emails from Neiman Marcus regarding the shipping status of Windsor, so I logged into my account on their website to check the status. Next to the order, it says that it's backordered: "Available approximately 10/31/12." I'm going to contact them after this post to see if I can get some details.

Chat with NM customer service:

Gabrielle Duncan: I will be happy to check that for you.
Jeff Cousins: Thanks, Gabrielle.
Gabrielle Duncan: Thank you.
Gabrielle Duncan: One moment please while I research this for you.
Gabrielle Duncan: Per the order history, the order will ship in 1-2 business days.
Gabrielle Duncan: The Windsor, 8.4 oz remains in a backorder
Gabrielle Duncan: status. Please indicate if you would like to continue to wait for this item. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Jeff Cousins: Yes, I would like to wait. When I placed my order, the status said that it would be available approximately 10/31. Any idea when it might be ready?
Gabrielle Duncan: One moment please while I research this for you.
Jeff Cousins: Thank you
Gabrielle Duncan: You are welcome.
Gabrielle Duncan: Your approximate arrival date for this order is 11/08/2012.
Gabrielle Duncan: We do appreciate your patience and I have noted this on your order. Our buying office is working with the vendor in order to make every effort to fulfill your order.
