Good morning,

Woke to heavy rain, so time to reach for something rich...

En Avion. The probably most beautiful perfume ever in my book.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Hello all!

I am in my "nothing to wear" fragrance - Chanel N5 EDT
post #5 of 40
Good Morning All,

I had a fun evening out last night, but I'm paying for it today: Tired and *delicate*, shall we say. And shortly, I have to drag myself off to a day-long conference.

SotE was Sarrasins.
SotD is AdP Colonia - I need something clean and bright to get me through.

Have a lovely Sunday, gang.

Hugs and kisses dear Fumees!
Thanks for starting us out today Larimar! You have a good day!

Today I'm wearing Cravache by Robert Piguet. On me it started with an intensive lavender note that was quickly followed by a juicy lemon. I also get a lot of dry and spicy nutmeg. Thank god I don't get much vetiver from it. I really need to find a nice vetiver containing perfume that doesn't smell much vetiver, if you know what I mean...

You all have a great Sunday!

Good morning !. Our predicted heavy rain is holding off until this evening so off shortly to make the most of a promising day. Hope our delicate doctor manages to nurse himself through his working Sunday .

SotD is Ulrich Lang Anvers 2.

Feeling upbeat and in the mood for something bombastic ...

Sampling KM Datura Blanche today I can see why this has it's fans.
KM doesn't seem to get much airtime around here so I ordered the sampling set, barely touched it though. Need to crack on though as heading back to NYC and it's easi to find KM over there. Wonder if luckyscent can deliver to my hotel!

Have a good Sunday all, working again. Not long now though and will be time to ease up!!!

Wearing Ubar today. I refuse to keep it for special occasions now I have it. I've even decanted a handbag size spray so I can top up when and if needed. Gorgeous stuff

Good morning!

Our weather woke me up this morning, strong winds, a little hail and heavy rains. For some reason our weather alert system didn't call until it was nearly over. It's settled down now, thank goodness.

SotM is Creed Les Floralies, the notes from the Creed home page are:
Top note: Chrysanthemum, Japan's royal symbol, blended with leaves of the Asian star magnolia
Middle note: Jasmine, Japanese tea and Asian lilac
Bottle note: Bulgarian rose and plum blossom

Have a great day!

Good morning everyone -

I'm in Songes. The tennis is starting - gotta run!

Y'all have a wonderful day!

(((Carolina girl)))- good luck! You will come through beautifully, don't worry!

Sampling Lancome's O de l'Orangerie today.

Quarry, loved the wiener doggies in your post yesterday! Only thing cuter was the real thing. Wiener dog races come down to whose "parents" brought the best treat. Turns out cheeseburgers are most worth running to- though the dog that won ran to the cheeseburger in his opponent's lane! Winning dog's daddy hadn't brought such a good bribe! Was so much fun; I've really been missing out not going to these until now. Was a very jolly crowd; those sweet creatures put everyone in a happy mood.

Evangeline, I think you're right about Milwaukee and Fort Wayne being similar. The Mr. has family in Wisconsin (Madison area and on the lakes up north near Cable- either of those close to you, Quarry?) and from the in-laws' descriptions, Milwaukee's festivals sound much like ours. And I know from our own visits to that great state that the people are similar- friendly and full of humor. We really want to make time to get to Milwaukee on one of these occasions- maybe we can "run into" each other one day there!

Perfumedlady, yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Meet in Milwaukee or ravage the perfume counters of Chicago. I am there for you. Ashamedly, I never crawled out of my nest to meet up with Evangeline when she lived up this direction -- probably because there are no great shopping/smelling places to go around here.

Good health and good spirits wished to all who enter here. Back with sotd when I figure out what direction my day is taking.

Saving some place for Foustie. She's back! Foustie is back! Let's give her a big, warm welcome. Good to see you back home sweetie!!

Welcome home, Foustie! You were sooo missed!

Yay, Quarry! We'll be visiting Wisconsin at least once this summer and Chicago is really a day trip for me, only a 4-5 hour drive. I know we can work something out sometime!

The Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose was my choice in the morning. Simple yet stunning and smelling a lot more expensive than the current price, similarities with SL Sa Majeste La Rose are uncunny.

Will pour some Gres Cabaret on top of it for the night and I am set.

Foustie, welcome home. We missed you.

Chantilly today (it is a phase), though I was almost twins with Mike in Shalimar.

Gandhajala, I hope you are feeling better. I imagine you will sleep well tonight, perhaps already are.

I'm in JM Fresh Mint Leaf today. The air is heavy and a bit humid, but not very hot.

WHWend, when will you be in NYC? I'm very near there and always good for a meetup if I can.

I'm wearing SL L'Eau Froide.

Wishing all a good Sunday.

I'm testing FM Dans Tes Bras today. The name translated to "in your arms" sounds so romantic. <dreamy sigh>

It's been a lazy day here too ... I've been reading and watching some recorded tv shows from the past week.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Hi everyone, just got back from a family christening for my cousin's twins. SOTD is Donna Karan Cashmere Mist, which can't compete with the sweet smell of new babies. <3

Went shopping with a friend who bought Lanvin Rumeur 2 Rose, so I sampled some. It's OK but not for me.

Have been repeatedly sampling YSL Nu EDP and am considering a FB at some point in the near future. We'll see ...
