$85 for 4 oz Original Vetiver? too good to be true?!

So I just won a new 4 oz bottle of Original Vetiver on Ebay for.....$85 shipped

The seller has 100% feedback and after looking through his feedback, this would be his 1st Creed sale.

He also allows return (14 days money back).


I don't know if I should go ahead and check out or tell the seller "nevermind". What do you guys think? It's fake? Too good to be true?

Be very careful, counterfeits of OV abound. Bought one myself and posted about it here with photos.

You bid...you're supposed to pay for it. As a frequent seller on eBay nothing drives me more crazy than someone who bids and doesn't pay, it wastes everyone's time. Most likely you'll get a Authentic item...if not you're protected by eBay.

Well, the reason I said that was because the seller hinted at me in a conversation that he should have listed it as Buy-it-now since he ran the risk of getting less $$ for what he paid for. If this OV was sincerely authentic the seller would not hesitate to cancel on my request, in fact, he might even thank me.

But iono, I don't have a problem with paying for something I bidded on. It's just, this seems too good to be true and I don't want to end up with a fake bottle and then having to send it back.

Send the seller a message asking him if it's fake or not. Tell him you will be able to know if it is, in which case you're protected by eBay and paypal. I doubt he would knowingly send you a fake after that.

Seems like a legit retailer, plus 85$ sounds like a legit retail - albeit discounted - value for OV.

Their site shows OOS though. I wouldn't bother buying as you'll just have to deal with ScentedMonkey's poor customer service...

You're covered with this purchase. The fact that a 14 day return policy is included should put you at ease as well. I wouldn't stress it. Hopefully it's a great batch...
