Where can I find a bottle of this fragrance? I've been looking all over for it. Thanks for your help, in advance.

It's tough to get a hold of, being exclusive to the Paris Serge Lutens boutique. I had to send my parents to France for mine.

France lol. Just kidding (but not really). Here is an eBay listing, I have no idea if that's a good price or not.

Great scent btw!

Yes indeed.

In Paris, it should cost EUR130, so the ebay is overpriced (unless it's vintage etc).

There was an unverified rumor that Bergdorf Goodman in NYC might start carrying the Paris exclusive line, but who knows. Before then, one has to go to Paris (or at least be in Europe, since they ship in Europe).

If you are in the US - www.theperfumedcourt.com may have partial bottles for sale.

Has there been a known reformulation of this since 1994? I'm not sure that markup is warranted even if it is "vintage!"

Luca Turin in his newest book claims that the current version is less striking than the original version. I have the current version and it smells pretty striking to me, but I have not smelled vintage, so I wouldn't be able to compare. But presumably, this is not the reason for the asked price - it's likely more: I'm charging a markup because you cannot buy it anywhere in the US.

Thanks for that; I didn't know about the Luca Turin re-review. Like you, I find my current bottle pretty striking, so I'll try not to despair

All this talk of Iris Silver Mist ............
When I was in Paris last year , I went Les Salons du Palais Royale with my sister. I was so excited to be there that I forgot the flacons were not spray bottles but stoppered ones. The first perfume bottle I grabbed with Iris Silver Mist and excitedly pulled the stopper only to spill quite bit on the floor and on my shoes. I discreetly but anxiously rubbed the rest of the spilled juice into the floor which I believe was parquet or wood. No SAs saw - I hope.....
Highly embarrassing incident but I had wonderful smelling shoes !
Mr. Bean would have been proud of me ! *LOL*

I've told this story before but this thread brings back memories !

That's actually not a bad price for ISM, if you want to see a rip off, search for the 1/10 (I think less really) of a bell jar going for $40 right now...

From the sample I have it's a very nice scent, a little out there, but I'm definitely searching around for a deal on this one.

I'm not a fan of this one, so I haven't tried to buy a full bottle. I purchased a sample from TPC. That is always an option, but it would be prohibatively expensive to try to purchase more than a few ml's of it there.

Yep, I confirm the price. I just got a bell jar from the Palais Royal boutique in Paris.
