I can't tell if I like it or not...is it one you need to wear a few times?
Definitely.

I appreciate it as a fragrance that really tells a story, but after a few wearings I think I'm sick of it. It's just a bit too much for me, and I rarely find myself reaching for it anymore. Fortunately it was really cheap so I don't regret having it in my collection.

I'd say I grew fonder of it after a few wearings...definitely a rare one (citrus gourmand). Pretty good fragrance.

I view it as a scent which it is irrelevant whether I like it or not.
Mainly because women find it intriguing.
Cheers,
Renato

I liked it the first time I put it on. Prefer the EDP though.

I like this one a lot! But do not, repeat, do not pay full retail. One SE at Nordstroms here is always pushing me to this one even though I have it. It can be found very cheaply on ebay and elsewhere.

I did pay retail for this at Nordstrom-- there was a SA there pushing it. I wanted the EDP. I paid retail for the EDP, but the SA also gave me a 1oz. bottle of the EDP as well as a large shower gel--both for free. I agree, this can be had much cheaper online, but the Hanae Mori rep really sweetened the deal.

This remains one of my favorite fragrances ever.

That does sweeten the deal, so a good buy.

I have to admit that I never tried the edp...but I really like the edt.

If you like the EDT, then the EDP may be a real treat for you. I have them both and I like them each in their own way. The EDP is just so much fuller, dense and more rounded. Awesome lasting power too.

Put it away for a while, then re-test it.

I hate this stuff. Smells like a dirty wet dog threw up a hershey bar and had a lemon come out the other end.

That was a disturbing image. What I actually get from it is, well...if you've ever had a chocolate mint sparkling water, then put some lemon zest in it, that would be this fragrance.

I work with someone who wears H.M. occasionally and I can always smell him a mile away. H.M. has massive projection. I think it smells good from a distance but up close it's too much for me. I'm not a big fan of this fragrance, but I'll give it a full wear down the road before making the call.
for me it was a pretty quick no. a couple of wearings didn't improve it!
Didn't really like the sweet lemon, also never felt that there is a fitting occasion to wear this or that the scent suited me very well.

The EDT has a lot more breathing room between the notes so it is a less linear scent, more evolution. The EDP is fairly linear, not a lot of note evolution but smoother and more well rounded. I like them both.

My dad owns HM. I went to his house today and made a point to ask if I could sample it. He said no.

Just kidding. I put one spray on my wrist and one on my chest. While trying to keep an open mind and forget any previous opinions, I decided I simply don't like this frag. It's just too much for me. It's harsh to my nose. Also, I perceive this as very much a "That Cologne Guy" fragrance as the projection is just so prolific. Huge projection and a loud and harsh frag...not my cup of Laphroaig Quarter Cask scotch, unfortunately. I smell this frag and my mind thinks of Jersey. lol I'm weird

I tried the EDP first and couldn't get it off my skin fast enough!!! A year later I got the EDT and like it. I'm sure if I let the EDP dry down on me I might grow to like it, but it was not a pleasant experience at first.

Unique fragrance. I got lemon and chocolate? Came off a bit too feminine

After couple of wearings, I'm still not sure if I like this scent. It's so different from anything else, but also there are not many occasions where I would need both Citrus and Gourmand at the same time. I think it's an odd combination that I can't wear every day.
