Morning all. At last it has stopped raining here. Still threatening though.

Hope you're all fine and dandy today. I have a trip to the vet lined up this morning. Baxter (my avatar) has stopped eating and the 'pick me up' the vet gave her on Thurs hasn't worked. She is almost 20 and I am steeling myself for the worst. Wish us luck!
If she had a favourite perfume I'd wear it, but in the absence of such I'm going with Angel edt.

Don't know if you'll be dropping in today Candy Perfume Boy, but have a lovely birthday anyway!

Have a great weekend all.

The maintenance break was shorter than I expected. I was afraid we'll be off for the entire weekend, but here we are, safe and sound again, yay!
SotD is divine smelling Le Labo Iris 39

Devilcat, sorry to hear that about your kitty. Be strong and I'm sending my best wishes towards both of you! ♥

((Devilcat)), wishing you and Baxter the best of luck at the vet today!

Good Morning,

Thinking kind thoughts for Devilcat and Baxter.

Draining the last drops of my No. 5 EdP today. It's funny, I came across an old thread here devoted to No.5, and I listed my order of preference for concentrations as: Parfum > Edt > EdP. Currently however, I just can't get enough of the EdP. I can definitely see a bottle appearing on the horizon....

Happy Birthday CPB ! Have an awesome day. I really hope I can make it to your Perfume Lovers shindig next month.

Have a wonderful weekend all.

Good morning, nice smelling people. We are getting some of your rain here and I am enjoying it.

Kiliwia, I stand corrected -- you are right and thank you -- I had it messed up (again!) reading things on a diagonal (like usual), about yesterday's planned maintenance break. I also loved the picture of that purple tree -- some amazing stuff, aren't they?

Happy Birthday to CPB and many fragrant returns. In Alien?

Devilcat, hope you, your folks and your cat can find some peace. They ARE a family.

Caron Sacre, the older one. Still have not tried the newest one (purple packaging), but the older one is my SO's favorite.

If you thought to give up on my shipping stuff, I mailed out 8 packages yesterday, I notified everybody personally (4+4) about how their packages look to easier spot them in the mailbox. Sorry I made you all wait.

Hello all. Chanel No22 edt pre exclusifs.

Good morning!

Happy Birthday, Candy Perfume Boy!!

Using up the last of my bottle of Vera Wang Sheer Veil. I think the secret to
liking this scent is to apply twice as much as you normally wear, then you can
actually smell it and it's pretty good, lol.

Have a great day!

Good morning friends! Today I am sampling one of my own creations. It's build around a magnolia accord I have been working on for some time. This one is my most complex yet consisting of 68 ingredients. Notes are:
Top: black pepper, Sumac, Bitter Orange, Magnolia
Mid: Lily, Privet, Jasmine, Jasmine Sambac
Base: Sandalwood, Benzoin, Guiacwood

So far, I love it. Will see what my sniffers say.
Have a great day, here it's still pouring. Mojito's were excellent. Limes were from the first real harvest, and I am thoroughly impressed. @Larimar, I used some Puerto Rican rum called Don Q, gifted to me this winter. Was delicious. More today after work.

(((Devilcat))) best wishes to you and Kitty xoxo

SOTD is Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude. Not as richly, thickly sweet as the original, this flanker is more a powdery skin scent with a hint of coconut.

Notes include bergamot, mandarin, pink and black pepper, jasmine, muguet, coconut water, honey, musk, sandalwood, amber, heliotrope, vanilla and Melted Woods NaturePrint (!!!)

Enjoy the day, all!

I forgot- gandhajala, I see you're coming around to my way of seeing No.5! Have bottles of all 3 but I love EDP best of all. Extrait is beautiful but so fleeting on me it's hardly worthwhile. Is it just me, or is EDP just a tad heavier on iris than the others?

Love the bath and body line as well. In fact my favorites look like this now:
EDP > After Bath Powder > Sheer Moisture Mist (but it's LE, usually only around in summer) > EDT > Parfum. I think EDP must be great on a man- you smell divine!

Hello everyone, I'm in Roja Dove Vetiver...

(((Devilcat))), I hope Baxter is ok.

It's good to see, Rtamara.

I love No. 5 edp but I dislike the edt, which is a complete flip-flop from before. No. 5 and I are like this.

I'm wearing a dab of Bourbon French Musk oil today. I haven't even been out of the house. I've been very lazy today...browsing through Christmas cd's on Amazon, and watching television with the hubby. I suppose I'll have to think about making lunch soon.

I hope everyone is ok here.

Happy Birthday to Candy Perfume Boy wherever you are! We miss you!

Hello everyone. Thank you so much for your well-wishes for Baxter. I'm pleased to report that after another stronger pick-me-up shot she seems to have rallied and has started eating again. She's a feisty old girl.

In Shalimar this evening. Best to all xx

Devilcat, glad to hear your kitty is better. Our pets are really part of the family, and I panic when one of the doggies is sick.

Happy Birthday to CPB!

It is so hot today that nothing lasts very long, scent-wise. I applied Dioressence, which usually lasts all day, and it was gone before lunch. Must re-apply.

I'm wearing By Kilian Prelude To Love today. It's such a happy scent, sparkling orange blossom and iris ...

Hugs to Devilcat and Baxter ... and birthday wishes to Candy Perfume Boy

Kumquat, that cake is fabulous. Baxter would love a piece - provided it's fish flavoured!

Thanks again all for your kind thoughts. You lot are the best x

Afternoon: Agua de Colonia Concentrada by Alvarez Gomez (first time from a sample)

Tonight: Extract of Mysore Sandalwood by Crabtree & Evelyn (vintage juice)

Spent the morning in the gym and the afternoon on Lincoln Road shopping for the 'perfect' pair of swim trunks for my summer vacation (I found them!). Then I had a huge nap and woke up and made a late lunch/early dinner. Now I'm restless...I feel like I want to go out and get into some trouble

Devilcat, best wishes for Baxter. So happy you have gotten so many years with him, and hoping you get some more time together. Our cat Max is 18, and slowing down a little. His sister & littermate died a couple of years ago.

Today Un Jardin Sur la Nil, from a visit to Sephora.

Yesterday couldn't get into the site but was actually kinda synchronized in Sunshine Mama's Spiced Tea. Tea counts, I think.
