Critique My Collection

I'm not very new here, but I don't where else to put this.

I'm trying to establish a small but versatile collection under a reasonable budget.

I usually avoid niche because of the high price and because of the low availability to accurately sample them.

Fahrenheit (my favorite and signature)
The Dreamer (a controversial fragrance that I happen to love)
Cool Water (my first cologne, compliment-getter, love this one)
Acqua Di Gio (not the most original, but I still really like this one)
Eau Fraiche (good for the summer)
KC Reaction Connection (a new release that really surprised me by in terms of quality)
Bulgari Aqua (great aquatic, interesting drydown)
Love and Luck (a good fragrance with bad longevity, 50/50 on whether I want to keep it)
Drakkar Noir (one of my first, however I rarely use this one - thinking of selling)
Aramis (I tried to like this one, but couldn't. Probably going to sell)
Eternity (I really love some notes in this, others not so sure. May sell, but probably keeping)
Le Male (I enjoy this one, not an everyday fragrance for me, but I really like it.)

Wish List (all have in common that I'm waiting for a better price):
1 Million
Egoiste
Dior Homme

Critique my collection?
Any recommendations?

As for a recomendation, try Pure Havane since it is available and more affordable again. As far as your collection...just enjoy it. Keep the ones you love, and sell anything you find yourself avoiding.

You have a nice diversified little collection.

I couldn't help but notice that Le Male was listed twice. Coincidence? I think not!

Anyway, I like your collection, it's a really nice representation of a lot of the better non-niche fragrances. You'll do well with Egoiste and Dior Homme as well, and though I really dislike 1 Million, it won't be a bad addition either.

A word of caution, though. I notice you're holding off for a better price on those last three, which you may find for Dior Homme and probably will get for 1 Million, but Egoiste is very, very rare to find for any less than retail. You may be forced to spring for full-price, it's just how it is with it.

Yeah, Egoiste is one of the VERY FEW frags that I like so much that I would play full price for.

Listing Le Male twice was pure coincidence. It's not something I'm in love with but I like it. I think it's a staple in every good collection.

But I think over time since 1m is fairly new, it will eventually drop.

Very Nice, but you may wanna add a few like Lacoste essential, L'homme by YSL

Im not a fan of the lacoste line.

Lhomme i am considering though

That looks like a pretty well diversified and flexible collection. My only suggestion would be to try out some heavier, warmer scents for the winter. Burberry London and John Varvatos Vintage would be decent options.

Sell:
Love and Luck
Drakkar Noir
Aramis

You'll still have a versatile collection.

If you're in the US, I would follow paradigm's suggestion to get A*Men Pure Havane, or take advantage of the upcoming availabilty of A*Men Pure Malt.

Good collection. I second the idea of trying other things in the Aramis range. I think Estee Lauder has a very good quality-price ratio. Tuscany is a classical herbal green Italian style thing, for instance.

I think that Lush perfumes, surprisingly, are also a very good value. Breath of God is perhaps the best, though it is a little avantgarde, smoky and fresh at the same time. Dirty is an easier minty scent.

Good collection. I would suggest trying some vetivers and some Guerlains, which are not especially expensive, maybe some classics like Eau Sauvage or Rive Gauche, and one or two of the great Carons (Yatigan, 3rd Man, PUP, L'Anarchiste), which are cheap. Seeing where your taste is headed, I'd say you will want to have GIT sooner or later. This one you can get a good deal on so just keep looking. The Lauder lines I would agree offers great quality in masculines for a really decent price and they are easy to get. Egotiste you will probably have to pay full price so I would just order from Chanel (they give samples). Chanel's fragrances are all of very high quality and even at full price they are a good deal.
