In fact, I think this happened to me on Saturday, when I went out to play tennis. Normally I wouldn't wear perfume, but I got the tennis invitation at the last minute and had already spritzed myself. My forearms broke out in a bumpy rash, but the other places I'd sprayed were fine (and covered!). The rash is gone now, by the way.
This sounds like classic photosensitization. We've discussed this on some other threads recently. Also, you can google "fragrance photosensitization" for some more info.
On one of the threads, I talked about the slight skin discoloration on the sides of my neck - presumably from using years of colognes and aftershaves in those exact spots, while rarely wearing sunscreen. It may have been aggravated by medicines - but then, who doesn't take medicines?
I gotta say, this really is a teachable moment about industry self-regulation, IMO. Personally, I'm glad that somebody is paying attention to this, even if I may blow hard on occasion about their having messed with classic formulas.

Has this ever happened to anyone and if so what did you do? Thanks
You can spray under your clothing as well. I've never had a problem with skin under clothing, although I avoid places where there might be a lot of chafing of skin against dry or stiff cloth.
If you have longish hair, consider spraying some into your hair as well. Hair can give great performance - a lot of women swear by this technique.
And if you aren't at least trying some of your frags partially ON clothing, you're missing the extreme longevity and extra-long topnotes that you get that way.
