How long does it take you in the pursuit of happiness to realize that you have already arrived?
My goal for happiness tends to spiral upwards so I am still chasing. I think the day I arrive will be the day I stop chasing it which sounds very silly but true.

Still searching for that utopia.

How old were you when you could really say that you were on your own?
25, almost 26.

Young people these days are often living at home for some time after college to save money before moving out on their own. By what age would you expect your own kids to move out?
All my kids moved out permanently as soon as they entered university and started their own life away from home.

How much responsibility should teenagers be given today?
incrementally more, according to what they show themselves able to handle, which will vary from teen to teen.

What do you learn from the younger generation in your family?
My son has taught me how to be young ,up to date , maintain a sense of humor . He has shown me a child's pure sense of God, loving kindness and I leant what a 'complete love' is. I've seen the world and everything in it through the eyes of an innocent .

If you had a profound dream where God came to you holding a white rose and told you to move to the Red Sea and become a fisherman as part of some divine plan. And when you awoke you found that white rose on your bed, would you do it?
The desire would be there, but I am not sure the capability to satisfy would.

SQ
I would have to ponder that one a while but I think I actually would.

What could you say was a defining moment for you?

I'd like to think of the above but what I know is laying ground work for my daughters education. That's the beginning.

I try and stay in the present though the past bites me in the rear sometimes and the future is always looking to hit me square between the eyes . I try and stay in the present because basically it is all that exists .

Are you good at multi tasking ? Does it come naturally or is it a skill you learnt through trial and error ?
I consider myself good at multitasking. I learned it from my mother, God rest her soul, who, like all mothers, by necessity had to be proficient in it.

SQ
I am also good at multi tasking and learnt it through being a nurse .

How is your penmanship ? Has it suffered through use of the keyboard and texting ?
I consider it good.
I always liked my father's penmanship, and I always tried to emulate it, without ever acknowledging how impressed I was with it. I wish that I had told him inasmuch as it is such a part of me, as I am today.
I do not think that it has been affected with the use of a keyboard, since I was accustomed to using a typewriter before anyway.

Are you impressed with a braggart, and why?
Braggarts have never impressed me and never will. I learnt from young that being a braggart is very embarrassing and off putting really. I have a close relative who is the biggest braggart and from a young girl I have always said that one must never ever fall into the ' Braggart Trap ' . There is nothing worse than someone who brags and boasts .
As Owen D. Young said : " Where boasting ends, there dignity begins. "

SQ
I need to learn how to "let it be"; to accept what cannot be improved by effort on my part.
