Hi everybody - I'm quite excited to be on here - and am looking forward to reading and (hopefully) participating in some of the discussions.
I've heard that this is the best of all the Fragrance websites.........

Hi, crazyperfumelady123, I don't want to throw rain on your parade, but not everything is always fine and dandy in virtual discussion land. Whether on Basenotes, or anywhere else. Just a fact of life.

Welcome to Basenotes, I'm pretty new here, too, and I love it. Lot of great noses that are very helpful. Most everyone is very nice, too. Great handle, crazyperfumelady123!

There is no D woman on here as far as I can see - and I've heard that the Amiinistrators on here are fair and aren't on some macho ego trip unlike F.......... - So, that's fine and dandy with me!!!

Thanks, but I've taken enough risks lately to last a LONG time!!!!! I think I will take take it easy for a while - get the hang of the place. Also, you have to take pity on me - my brain has been completely dumbed down from spending over a year over on the dark side (or should that be pink side) - or whatever colour it is at the moment!!!! I need time to learn how to think again ......

About my name -
Like a lot of perfume junkies - I love to go into shops and test.....
Anyway, I was out and about with a friend one day, when we passed a shop that sells perfumes and she said ''Aren't you going to go in there to test any perfumes? I told her that I didn't want to, as I had already been in that particular shop testing perfumes the day before - and if I go in again today, they'll think I'm nuts.
My friend then said to me ' Yeah - they'll say - here comes that crazy perfume lady again.....''
Hence the name.

I'm so glad you made it over here! You will be missed over at FRG but I completely understand your decision. And I have to say it is nice to see a few familiar faces on this site, yours included. I just joined a couple of days ago myself and am still trying to figure out how to navigate this place.

Although I myself preferto stick with BN mostly (as far as posting goes), you're absolutely right! I don't get the rivalry either.
