Must Buy Niche and Must Buy Designer?

Thread Starter
Ok lately, the last few fragrance I picked up were "niche" and I really don't want to start becoming one of those niche nazi's who end up being too bias so I want to balance it out. Give me some recommendations for one must by designer and one must by niche.

In my collection is now: Angel Men, Pure Havane, One Million, Green Irish Tweed, Virign Island Water, Milesime Imperial, Aventus, Bleeker Street, also coming in is Dior Homme Intense.

Some ideas I have in mind are Fahrenheit, La Nuit,Chergui, Rose 31, and Pure Malt...those are fragrances I'm contemplating on buying in the future.

So back to the topic...in your opinion what do you think is a must own designer along with a niche fragrance thats also a must own.

Amongst many in the niche community, these seem to be some of the more highly regarded:

Chergui
Rose 31
Back to Black
Tobacco Vanille
Jubilation XXV
Tea for Two
Bois Blond
Idole de Lubin

Unless you're a collector I'd recommend you sample around stuff and see what you like, no such thing as a must by niche or designer. You may like some aquatic stuff, but people here might recommend Muscs Koublai Khan which is not even in the same stratosphere, just as an example.

Respectively:
M by Puredistance

&
Jules by Christian Dior

Sample, sample, sample or some of the recommendations might have you smelling like elephant dung

Since you seem to like warmer, stronger, more traditional and slightly gourmand, I'd toss:
Egoiste (the plain Egoiste, not platinum), which is warm sandalwoody, in mainstream
+1 Knize Ten (ambery leathery) in niche. But also the Lutens of choice (oh yes, and why not Muscs koublai khan as per comf.?).

I think you will like Zino by Davidoff, and consider getting a Comme des Garcons for you niche collection, check out the incense-series they have, or 2 Man.
