Gift from my mother.

As my family do not know about my collection yet --we live in separate buildings in the same land--, I need to avoid walking near Creed and Bond counters as the SAs always greet me with really lively voice of 'What are you going to buy today ?' or 'Have you enjoy --the name of the last one I bought--?'.

Selection Verte by Creed

As a fan of mint fragrances, I have been quietly wanting this for probably 5-6 years...it will arrive within the next couple of days - just in time for my Summer vacation next Thursday. Very excited to take this one along with me and 'discover' it.

Just purchased my first Kilian (Sweet Redemption) at Luckyscent.com. Ouch that hurt.

I'll post a pic when it comes in. I thought it was the perfect time because a relationship of sorts (it's complicated) ended yesterday, and this perfume is about "the end" of a relationship, and SW was my favorite Kilian I've tested, and I was looking for an excuse anyway. LOL

Hey, my friend! Hope you're well. I've yet to find a Creed that works for me, but I'll have to try this one!

Today I bought a 30 liter "Vipp" Rubbish Bin for $498.00US. I compared notes about this with a BN cohort over PM and it was mutually decided that, even though this is made in Denmark and not France, it still qualifies. My BN cohort had a very strange reaction to my announcement, only because I was thrashing my head against the wall moaning--"I cant believe I spent $500.00US on a bin!!!!!"--when, arguably, the same amount will go in perfumes which never get worn and end up in the "cave," and I barely shrug. My friend maintained that: "At least you will henceforth be disposing of your cellophane wraps in style."

OH! OH! OH!: Even though I didn't buy it, (it was a gift) I am now the proud owner of an HUGE decanter of CREED's "Windsor," fully sealed--with the Royal Warrants On! I opened it and it smells like....everything.....soup to nuts: Starts in a field of roses, ends in an Indian Curry Joint. Also: Through careful research, I've ascertained it is "Windsor I" (first issue) and not "Windsor II" (re-issue) Anybody know about that one? it's supposedly a big deal....

I was paying my bills today and realized I had enough rewards built up on my Discover card that I could cash them in for a $50 eCertificate at Sephora... and since my sample of Gucci Pour Homme II is running out, I thought "Why not!" That gets me a 3.4 oz GphII for $23. Not too shabby.

Gucci Pour Homme II for L'Homme Blanc Individuel, awe yeah.
I got Perry Ellis 360 Red Men for $14.99 at Ross. Nice fresh cinnamon scent. Weird combo, but good.

Is this "C-Men" rumour true? How do you know?

A-Men, T.O.F. I hope it's as good as I'm reading here........

Hi all,

I took a walk on the "cheap" side today. I found a 3.3 oz. (98% full) bottle of ROMA at a local Thrift Shop for four dollars! Not too bad considering it sells online for around fifty five dollars. I also found a NIB LAUDER Men's sampler set of five Colognes for eight dollars. "Take a walk, take a walk on the CHEAP side". And the Purfumed girls sing.....Do,do do, do do.....

Regards,
SixCats!

Fahrenheit Absolute 1.7 oz.

Both from fragrancenet.com so you know I got a good deal. Went with the unboxed Absolute to get an even better deal.

Bought YSL Body Kouros (image above) but the bottle looks exactly like regular Kouros except for it's color and it says Body Kouros. Have any1 seen BK that looks like the one I got? My bottle is manufactured on November 2011.
Well, they changed the regular Kouros bottle ever so slightly so maybe they changed Body Kouros too?

Someone gifted you a flacon of Creed Windsor I? Good grief, that is some friend! I would love to even sample it, let alone own a flacon.

It was supposed to be L'eau Mage.
However, they instead shipped me a wrong bottle of 34 boulevard saint germain. (which is actually also pretty nice)

ALZD's customer service was very helpful and still top notch though. I'll be returning the bottle back and getting a refund.

The two bottles are Or Noir, the feminine scent of Pascal Morabito: one filled bottle without sprayer and one empty bottle with sprayer...!
