It's almost good evening in Tokyo.

Wearing Annick Goutal Tubereuse from a sample. Not long before I am reunited with my collection.

Enjoy the weekend, everyone!

Hugs to my best friends!
Another heavy storm hit the city at night. Some trees are split or have broken branches, and according to forecasts some more storms are bound to hit at the weekend.

My SOTD is Annick Goutal Sables Homme. It has a really nice warm, dry smell, like a sandy desert.

Hope all will have a good weekend!

Hello everyone!

A misty july-morning after heavy rain. I've been killing slugs in the garden and photographing roses to balance things a bit

My fragrance today is Dior's Miss Dior. Lovely! Haven't worn it for a long time, and it was love all over again

LUCASAI: seems a lot of that has been going round in the world. The heavy rainfall is reeking havoc in the south of Japan and I hear and read about similar conditions in some parts of the UK. Stay safe.

(Gingerly - is that a word? - rejoining this happy family. MANY THANKS for the nice welcomes! MISSED all y'all.) Splashed on Cool Water before coming downstairs and discovering this was Sniff'n'Speak Satiddy. How quickly we forget. Well. It's been - what? - two, three years?)

Will semi-fougere do?

Yes, it's the 7th.

Another warm, humid one here. Every day seems to be like that, now. Are we paying for our warm winter, courtesy of El Niño?

Good morning everyone!

I didn't bring many greens with me, but I do have one - LizSport - and I wore it for a long run on the beach this morning. I can't say its ivy notes are perfect with sea air, but it's a gorgeous green scent that stays true and refreshing without turning sour once I'm all sweaty ...which is very important, and makes it my favorite for exercise. It's gone now though, and I'm in Alien Beach Lemon once again.

Y'all have a fantastic day!
30 Roses - congratulations on your latest milestone!

This morning I'm testing SL Miel de Bois from a sample from a most generous BNer. Applied and then walked a mile with my doggies. In this heat. Well well. This scent reminds me of log cabins I have stayed in. The honey was present initially, but the woods and some kind of humidity smell took over. Will have to try this one again, but inside with the ac on.

Lucasai, stay safe through the storms! Wish this crazy weather would just simmer down already. Been thinking of our friends in the U.K. and southern Japan, too as ladymurasaki mentioned. Many thanks to all of you who sent your good wishes my way; we appreciated every one of you!

Cristalle EDT today. Have a great weekend!

Hi, everyone. Disgusting heat here today--it's supposed to get over 100F and the humidity is back and oppressive. It didn't get below 72F overnight--blarg.

Sharing the house with Gabe in Lavender Palm.

Wishing all a great day.

Good afternoon oh fragrant ones

Having been away at our annual conference, this year in Dublin, I spent Wed, Thurs & Fri in Chanel No 22. I was told by my colleague it smelt like professionally laundered sheet She thought it was a compliment, so I took it as one, but inside my heart was bleeding that my skin chemistry turns No 22 aldehydic incensey loveliness to laundry musks.

Today is SL Arabie which in the humidity is cumin heavy and less fruity

... and in the U.S. we've been breaking heat records for weeks. Can't judge by just this years data, but this year is trending to validate climate chaos theory.

-- Just this past week, I erased your address from my address book. I am so glad to be wrong in thinking I might never "see" you again. Your influence has lingered with me. You got me started on a daily routine of clicking for mammograms and other charities at ClickToGive. And you created my Smileys habit. Wonder what youll have me doing next???

For SnS Green, I'm wearing the one-of-a-kind My Racing Heart. This is from a sample I picked up from The Parfumerie of Chenoweth Square in Kentucky a few years ago. It was a created for an equine charity. MRH is a slightly spicy green floral. If it weren't for a slight garden stink-bug association, I'd praise this more.

Aww, Ali. Clearly your colleague's nose needs seeing to. Either that, or I need to know which brand of detergent she uses. I want my sheets smelling of no.22 !

SotE is Dior Homme.

Ps. Funny, Q !

I'm wearing Ormonde Jayne Woman today. It is just my second time to wear it, but I may be desperately hooked on it. Totally gorgeous!

Xerjoff Mefisto today.

Reapplying for the evening and succumbing to the temptation of a New Zealand Merlot that beckons seductively. Excuse-moi

Good afternoon. Went to see Tab Benoit last night with both the grandmas and my man and my brother and his wife and all the kids, it was a very good show. More blues than zydeco...I have a limited tolerance for the blues but amazing musicianship and live performance helps There was a dancing couple there that I was calling "poly-dancer-ous" as they were dancing their way around the concert with other people, so cute.

All mango today. Body Shop Mango lotion smelled good enough that I stopped right there.
