Replies and Updates Not Posting/No Thread Movement

I added to my sales thread, and it didn't move up. I also tried bumping and all it does is add the reply to the original listing rather than creating a new message, and no movement. I've edited "bump" from my thread a few times because it's not moving up, just cluttering up my posting by adding it to the thread. Anyone else with this issue today ?

The forum is being updated. Hopefully everything should be operational soon.

You will be able to bump the thread when exactly 7 full days have passed, not before. You posted your thread on 2nd July 2012, 02:10 PM. You should be able to bump it after 9 July 2:10 p.m.

I discovered this myself this past week when I tried to update my own sale thread on the 7th day...it was not 7 days to the hour yet so it just added to my original post. But as soon as 7 full days to the hour had elapsed, I was able to put up a new post.

Yes, this is exactly what happened to me too, 30 Roses !

Perhaps the 7 days is true, but it must be such a new "enhancement" that Stu (the mod) doesn't even know about it. He was stumped himself, and suggested I start this thread to try and figure it out. It never was like that before. When you added/removed items, it was always permissible to bump. We shall see if this is the case, tomorrow.

Hmmm...the plot thickens !

I think you're right Raven because it didn't happen before. In the past, I would wait till the 7th day at any time and the thread would bump .

The 7 day wait was a mistake. Grant has been resetting some settings after the recent problems. It will be put back to a 6 day wait between bumps.
