Both! Apply one in the morning, apply the new one in the afternoon as well!

I have one (possibly two) frags arriving in today's mail that will be totally new to my collection. My instincts were to apply something in the morning, but I decided to wait. Now the waiting will be a little unbearable as our mail sometimes doesn't get here until mid-afternoon.

Anyone else have this same issue?

If I'm at home awaiting a mail delivery I never apply a normal SOTD. The thrill of anticipation is often hard to take, but I count that as just another symptom of fragrance addiction and obsession.

I get out of my house in the morning and back in the night from my job, so i only get my things at night.
Apply and wait option for me.

I have things coming in from a swap. The day progresses whether the new ones come in or not. With perfume, SOTD.

When the package comes in, I will put it away into a closet for a while, and quickly finish up chores, and then ...

pounce upon that package, and pull out the treasures. Sniff at each one the top, and then apply on the left side inner arm/elbow crease the best and favorite and

walk around while testing, testing ...

More than one of the new stuff will confuse the picture, like sometimes in Sephora where I need a ball point pen to keep track of different spots. That is not the same as

living with the scent. I get to know that scent. That takes time.

yeah, well, I may have miscalculated this one. The delivery estimation date was changed from today until tomorrow.

Apply and wait for me too. I just remembered I have Colonia Essenza on its way and the suspense is now killing me
But life goes on...

The way the post is around here, l can never be that certain when something is going to arrive. How nice that would be!
Besides, l tend to save new samples until l have time to give each my full attention. Therefore, l will apply my SOTD no matter what.

crisis somewhat averted. Out for delivery--- but to my house. Won't be there until late afternoon or so.

My plan backfired.

I'm never that excitd about a perfume. I guess in the end, it's only perfume. Something I've been wearing since age 8.

I get excited if I know anything's coming in the mail. But especially a new perfume or a new book! Even samples are quite thrilling.

In fact, I suspect I've ordered really cheap things from Amazon (marketplace books for £.01, anyone?) or FragranceNet on more than one occasion just to have something coming in the mail to look forward to.

It's the little things.

One of my excuses to visit the lovely property managers is to pick up various boxes sent to me!

It actually can take me several months to get around to wearing a new fragrance. I always sniff right away, though.

I don't wait until new scents arrive.

I'm waiting. Got something new coming in the mail tomorrow, which I am super pumped for

Second option.
I may or may not try the new arrival on the day. Mostly, I'd try a small dab on the day of the arrival, and give it a full wear the following day.

If I Know its arriving on a certain day then I just wait until it arrives to apply my SOTD.

I wait.

My mail comes so late in the day. Booo! I don't mind not wearing a scent for most of the day while I wait. For me, it's an issue of waiting for goodies. It doesn't matter if it's a frag or a gadget. I hate the wait. I wish my building was my mailman's first stop instead of being practically the last.

Usually use it as my evening scent if something is home when I arrive.
