In the range of gourmand and gourmandish fragrances, what is your favourite note that stands out in a fragrance? Also, which fragrance does this the best?

Examples could be:
Rochas Man - vanilla
Lolita Lempicka AM - anise

Vuarnet Duo Homme - vanilla

I'm not very fond of gourmands (and relative notes involved) but, IMO, Parfumerie Generale have done an amazing job with this genre. Fragrances such as Aomassai or Coze are big standtouts in this cathegory.

I like (well done) cocoa notes. Vanilla is good too, but not when overdone. Too many fragrances just put a ton of vanilla in their fragrance to make up for the lack of quality in the other ingredients just for it to be called a gourmand.
