Oh, it's most definitely a contest. And actually, If I was to say "no contest"...it would be in favor of Spicebomb. Quote:

Not a terribly big fan of La Nuit at all, and ended up selling my bottle a while back. Spicebomb I've tested for awhile and am sure I will be making a future purchase.
I agree with this 100%. Only rather than making a future purchase of Spicebomb, I've already bought it.
I owned (as in past tense) La Nuit De L'Homme. Initially, I liked it very much. But after wearing it several times over a couple of months time, it began to give me headaches. WAY too synthetic (and I like many synthetic fragrances). On the right person, I could see it being a good fragrance.....but it was way too synthetic and gave me headaches, so it had to go (I sold my bottle)
Spicebomb, though, I bought and still have....and I wear it occasionally. I enjoy the smell, don't get headaches from it, and it's a compliment getter. Also, as far as the longevity and projection comparison of the two, they're pretty comparable but I'd give Spicebomb the edge. A lot of fragrances simply don't last on me....but the other day, I did a test: Fahrenheit on one arm, Spicebomb on the other. Spicebomb projected just as well and lasted just as long as Fahrenheit.
And since I like it, it projects, and it lasts....it's a keeper. La Nuit, however, was not.
