I have an official sample from MPG that's called L'Eau de Gantier but the listing in Basenotes just says Eau de Gantier, without the "L". Things like this seem to happen a lot around here, but I'm mostly curious because the sample I have is very animalic and no one mentions that in the reviews for "Eau".

Was there ever a name change, or is this a different scent, or it just a Basenotes typo and it just so happens that the other reviewers didn't catch the poopy smell?

Anyone have any experience with this?
