Need a suggestion of a Plumeria/Frangipani based scent....

Thread Starter
that is a somewhat sheer floral with decent projection and longevity... My wife likes plumeria and am looking for suggestions as her birthday is rapidly approaching.. She recently tried Jewel by Alfred Sung but was not a fan....Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Two frangipani/plumeria fragrances that I like:
Saffron James Le'a (most realistic plumeria I know, and my top choice)
Chantecaille Frangipane (a bit too sweet for my taste but quite nice)

Three lovely floral blends with a noticeable plumeria note, all quite lovely:
EnVoyage Perfume Nectars des Iles
Chanel Beige
Jo Malone Vanilla & Anise

Hope this helps!

1 + Chanel Beige (there is a frangipani note in many Chanels including Coco, and Cuir de Russie...but neither of those is sheer)

Also Frangipani Absolute by Ormonde Jayne

Good Luck!

There was a recent thread on Ormonde Jayne versus Chantecaille Frangipani, with votes equally split. My vote for OJ.

Bourbon French in New Orleans has a Plumeria edt, and the travel size is about 8.00. It's a roll on, about 1/4 or 1/3 oz. Malli perfumes and foreverflorals.com are Hawaiian plumeria colognes. My daughter in law loves the Plumeria from foreverflorals.com. (not affiliated with any of these).

You could log onto a site like luckyscents.com, search for "plumeria" and any fragrance they carry with plumeria in it will be listed.

I love Manguier Metisseby Huitieme Art - delicate mango bark (soft and fruity) with a beautiful clean cut frangipani. It's light but long lasting.
