What do your wardrobe star markings mean to you?
My own ratings veer on the reserved side, so if I don't like the frag, it gets nothing at all.
One star means it is a pleasant perfume (but it may not really suit me).
Two stars means it's pleasant and quite wearable but perhaps not headed in the direction I would care to smell of, or there may be a note I don't care for amongst a fairly decent perfume (some of these have been past daily wearers).
Three stars means I can see it is a well structured perfume, is lovely and I may consider wearing it occasionally.
Four stars means the construction is good, I really like it and would definitely wear it sometimes.
Five means I just adore it, admire its layers and cannot stop sniffing my wrist.
Some odder ratings may be:-
It could be a tired nose after sampling too many and just be jaded.
It may be a bad sample or older bottle and cannot be judged well until a better sample is tried.
Getting more subjective with experience and therefore marking gets progressively harsher.
It could be interesting to see a neutral star in the centre and a negative side to balance the positive perhaps.
